I also literally only have 2 dance emotes so already giving me dupes is a very funny meme

The event didn't really have anything speciend aside 3v3 and 1v1 variation and double xp just got added only at the end.
It really was dissapointing.
(At least i love the anniversary music when i start the game)

Gotta say my favorite part of double xp is when you get backfilled into a game that ends in <20 seconds and get a free 1800 xp.
Definitely gonna miss this for future events; not to say I've been getting event loot in my boxes, I've mostly been getting garbage.

If the dropoff of playtime is severe enough when the event ends, I bet they bring it back.

This is the worst attitude to take into comp, honestly.
Got insulted by a Genji main on the opposite team for apparently relying on my sentry for 90% of the damage as Torb.
What? I legit placed my sentry around 8 times the entire match, the rest was getting in their face destroying their health with headshots!
I got a gold for damage and I'm pretty sure my sentry didn't deal 11,000 damage.
Don't know what's with this game but every Genji user I come across is such a sour player...

I think it's because Genji is an iconic character, so a lot of new players stick with him and don't really get a game sense from other heroes' perspectives.
This weekend I'd been getting a lot of salt/bad plays out of level 25 Genji players in comp placements; the problem is exacerbated by the double XP weekend because these level 25's fresh into comp should really be level 12-15.
i've been away all week and get back when this double xp event i just learned about ends

Every QP match i'm having revolves around Widowmaker. Halfway through a decent match you have to start focusing on not using entire sections of the map.
She's just not fun to fight, not having issues with killing her or anything. The gameplay just starts being about her when somebody picks her, much more than any other hero.
It's so tedious running from spawn having to think of every corner as a potential insta kill, in a game where every other fight is about knocking health off slowly. I really don't understand why it's still a thing.

Yeah that's good if she gets something else in return since I don't like how that affects different sensitivity/mousepad size players differently

That's how every other stun in the game works. Without mouse slowdown the effect wouldn't look as cool but I'd put gameplay over visuals any day, and fighting a mei is the most unpleasant thing in the world. Obviously ditching mouse slowdown and replacing it with nothing would leave mei completely useless though.
