They see it as Jeff's game. So really they DO see the game as made by a little indie dev because Jeff is the only person they know. People don't like thinking that Jeff/Blizzard is using them for a quick cashgrab with the lootbox system. So they will go out of their way doing mental gymnastics to try and defend the practice.

I can't be the only one who's getting kinda tired of this same subject coming up every couple of pages, can I? Yes it's a bad system. Yes whales are defending it. Yes it's ridiculous. Can we move on yet? No one's even arguing against you guys anymore. Nothing new is being said.

I'm just waiting for the Roadhog changes to land for them to ineveitably turn out to buff him (for me) again, even though they really should be a nerf. Though in this case I think he's dead unless some really specific hero interactions work out perfectly. Personally I just don't believe they're good changes, even if they turn out to be a buff.

I'm burnt out on Overwatch. Had the 12th off and could have played for loot boxes, but I took a long hard look at the situation and thought "it's not worth it." I shouldn't force myself to play just for stupid cosmetics that don't matter and will eventually be replaced. From now on, I'm just gonna use default skins and never open loot boxes, and see if the game can hold my attention without the Skinner box styled leveling/crates.

Even during events I usually just play 7 comp games a week (thanks blizzard) and I still feel burnt out

anyone else a decent sniper in any other game but can't hit shit in this? I got serious paranoia with hitboxes and registration because even during KotH, when everything slows down to transition into the intermission, I'll have extra time and concision to snipe someone in the head only for it to register as a regular hit :s: not only that, I have moments where I see what I clicked and it hits critically and I know its bullshit. like, what fucking gives

fuck, I thought the event ended on the 14th and i was literally just about to buy some boxes, and then it ends! I only got one skin and no dances for my mains! Oh well.

Opened about 40 boxes during the event, didn't even a single event skin :ok:

As someone who joined during the anniversary, playing the next event (or even the space in between) is gonna feel kinda weird. Did they say they're going to to second annual versions of past events? Or was that just BS someone told me so I wouldn't be sad about not having the olympic skins?

But yeah the changes are pretty confusing overall, I don't really get what they're going for with him.
