Dropped to 2400sr and honestly playing comp is pointless now. No one even tries once you get under 2500.
Gotta love comp assholes I was mercy, rein got pissed because i didn't heal him when he charged in and got surrounded by 2 tanks and a dps. we lost a few seconds later and he spammed "shitty mercy' in chat gotta love comp boys
Overwatch sucks. I was finishing my placements I was 9-0 things were going great. Oh my internet cuts out, what ever I reconnected in time. I D/C again what the fuck, I try to rejoin after Im reconnected and I got suspended from comp. . To make things greater I did see my rank and was placed low plat which I guess is alright actually

Playing Ana around 3700 SR, I always feel like I'm not hitting enough antis. Yea, I hit a few that secure a kill, but I mostly use my nade to chainheal tanks where they'd die otherwise, or to quickly heal team after some AOE damage, or to self-heal if the other healer is dead/busy (in this case I always try to tag someone else with it too). Am I justified in this -- using nade primarily defensively instead of for antis? Or should I be focusing more on getting big purples? In dive I try to be more offensive with it, since the team is pretty scattered anyway, but I still feel like I hold back with it

Reaper's playstyle is weird to learn, speaking as someone whose only solid DPS experience is with Soldier Doesn't help that trickling makes it hard to successfully flank key targets, since there's ALWAYS someone behind them [editline]18th June 2017[/editline] Is there a general rule of thumb for Reaper's target priority? Or is it pretty much just "find the one making the most noise, and shut them up"?

You want to get right up inside the enemies group and just start pounding people. The tricky part is getting into your range without getting killed.
9/10 times Mercy one tricks have no idea what they're doing
It pains me to see Mercy's desperately trying to heal their way to not being murdered by Genji (even when that Genji is me) [editline]18th June 2017[/editline] You can't heal people if you're dead, take out your gun
I just got a 1 trick Junkrat and 1 trick Mercy in the same team and they're both calling everyone noobs just kill me already :vs: :vs: :vs:
Well shit... I thought I wanted a gaming mouse, but it seems I may have to get one. The tiny ergonomics of my current mouse (M705) may be sending me on a path to tendonitis or carpal tunnel syndrome. My fingers are tingling a little bit. I have to take a break in the mean time. TAKE CARE OF YOUR HANDS, AND WRISTS
i doubt they even know the pistol exists
There's players who didn't know Mercy has a Damage Boost ability, as well as legitimate players who didn't know she had a side arm. They would get backed into a corner and just stare as you kill them. Also enlighten me, what are 'one trick' players?

I always go for Mercy first to be safe, then any tanks, Mei or Lucio. If you're near death use your shift escape and retreat, teleport is good for getting behind the enemy lines for a good surprise from the rear. I'd recommend not using wraith walk to get in close for the ult, as they'll expect it when they see you running at them with it on. Even if you weren't gonna ult, they likely will be prepared to open fire immediately as it ends, and you'll be on cooldown, so you can't get away I'd save it for a near death retreat, and not an advance. The only time using it to get close has worked was to piss off Reinhardt but it was foolish anyhow. I've also popped it to distract turrets/soldier ults for the team, though I haven't had this happen enough to be sure if soldier locks on when you're invincible My most successful death blossoms have been me teleporting into the middle of a group and immediately hitting q. Had a really nice potg clutch wiping the team on final point of hanamura defense with that.

Maybe they can only play one hero, or only do one thing as that hero any good. They're frowned upon because being a one trick is gonna have you in dozens of games that don't NEED you in thhe one role you're good at, but it's all you're good at so
i actually fucking hate competitive. The amount of leavers/DC'ers is fucking insane. Past SIX games someone has either left or DC'd just to come back later with some lame excuse that has cost us the match and it always seems to be right on my 2499+ match so I'm stuck in gold. God fucking damn it I'm pissed.
The level cap for comp needs to be far higher than it is now, I'm losing games because my teammates have no idea what a good comp is or what characters work well against others. My past three games have been stomps because no one picks anything to deal with pharah, people just have their mains and refuse to change to anything else.
We need to build a wall around comp and make the level 25s pay for it At least until their level 35 or something my god
I got matched with two level 26s in my competitive games during double xp.
We need to build a wall around comp and make the level 25s pay for it At least until their level 35 or something my god
50 minimum.
And for every hour on Mercy you must have 1 hour on another hero.
Min. 2 hours on every hero before entering comp, with grace period for new heroes.
But then I'd have to actually play widow.
Min. 2 hours on every hero before entering comp, with grace period for new heroes.
Minimum 2 hours of each class is more reasonable. You find a support that you like, play them for couple of hours to get used to their abilities, then try out some offensive hero and so on. [editline]18th June 2017[/editline]
But then I'd have to actually play widow.
Pretty much why I believe that 'x hours on a class' is better than 'x hours on every hero'.
I'd rather play 4 hours of Widow than play a single minute of Orisa
Its important to be good with all, for switching against counters.
I just don't like mercy one tricks because playing her doesn't require you to learn important concepts. It makes them really toxic when they don't understand what's going on. I've had one flame me for not getting off highground as soldier next to the first gate in Dorado so the person could escape a shitty flanker I was already shooting
I'd rather play 4 hours of Widow than play a single minute of Orisa
now that is just wrong

when ana was released i didn't know her left clicked healed and I thought her biotic grenade did most of the healing to be entirely fair that's when her biotic grenade healed a shitload
