Every "tank" has a way to mitigate some form of damage. Dva has defense matrix, Orisa has fortify and barrier, rein has a barrier, winston has a barrier, zarya has bubbles. They all have large health pools and ways to help mitigate damage taken to themselves and the team in some way or another. Hog doesn't have any damage mitigation. You could say his healing mitigates damage done but then you realize it really doesn't help him unless he can fall back and it's solely for him. Hog was never a tank like the rest of them, he was a beefier dps with a OHK combo on cooldown. So if they make him less potent in the killing area, they should really help him out more in the survival area. Because as a tank, he doesn't do his job.
Because they tried once and the Ana mains got it reverted.

I think this was inevitable really. Too many heroes will just flat out never see serious play because Hog did their job better.

Decided to play Junkrat for fun and like half my team got mad at me, said I was just throwing because we were losing. Is it just me or do Hanzo arrows do waaaaay too much damage? It feels like upwards of 150 damage per shot. I feel like the majority of times I die to a Hanzo it's to blindfire spam when I should have plenty of health, but I just fall over for having the gall to barely peak into a chokepoint. I am new to the game, though, so I could just be wrong.

I'd rather give him a homing arrow than the scatter. I mean, he can do that in his and Genji's cinematic, after all. Not extreme homing, just a light curvature that tries to predict the target's movements for you at medium to long range. Really fast targets can still evade it, and if you know it's coming you can juke it out, so it's not unavoidable. [editline]t[/editline] His existing voice clips for scatter - "Simple geometry" "There is nowhere to hide" etc - would still make sense too.

I like the new damage medal, but shooting barriers isn't useless.

And Mei's Ice Wall, which I've seen people shooting at it when it's not obstructing at all or when there's nothing happening just to boost their Damage meter. Orisa's barrier also counts here since it lasts so long even after you kill her.
Does anyone elses controls feel real fucking weird after this update?
