Okay to be fair they don't test Paladins content worth shit. There's an Assassin character that can outdamage every single DPS and is a straight upgrade to one of the base characters that hasn't been touched.

The latest hero also just has an ability that is a stronger version of another character's ULT.

What is the reasoning behind allowing high ranking players to participate in placement matches? Won't that only pollute the placement results of each individual player by forcing them to go against players who are very likely much better than them as opposed to a mishmash of random players also trying to get placed? After 4 straight losses to large stacks of gold and platinum players I'm struggling to get up the patience to finish the other placement matches. Is it really fair to allow this?

I'm getting stomped by smurfs in QP and stomped by ranked players before I'm even playing real Comp. Is there literally nobody left for placement matches so they just throw you in the shark tank? Seems awfully unfair to new and casual players, doesn't it? It's not even an issue of "oh man i lose all the time >:(" it's that it's either a 1000% curb stomp whether I win or lose. There's no fun to be had in a blatantly unfair match. Too busy making more event-exclusive skins to bother caring about the matchmaking or what, Blizzard?
