SR decay is just such a dumb mechanic, I'm not getting any worse at the game after not playing competitive for a week.

Had a thrower in a KOTH game, we carried him into round 4 but he quit halfway through. Managed to clutch out the 5v6 last round -- was probably the most hype round of overwatch I've ever played. Why can this happen?
Why is it putting 3 people with no ranks VS 3 people who were once diamond?
and not only they had no ranks, they all had about 3 hours played each season, so it's not like they used to be plat and are late this season.

They could still internally be diamond based on their few previous comp matches.

Having all these teams pull out of comp Overwatch leads me to believe Blizzard really is asking 20 mil from teams with no option for payment till 2021.

Getting really fucking tired of dickheads playing a DPS character when there are already 2 DPS on the team and we clearly need another tank/healer, forcing me to switch

Or people playing Reinhardt's on Nepal/oasis

Or being soldier's trying to flank when there's a tracer on the team instead of getting behind the shield

Or playing Sombra/Widowmaker on competitive ever

Even had a team be super passive aggressive towards me because I was playing Anna instead of Mercy

So I spent the last few days finally putting my foot out to work towards actually moving up a rank in Overwatch competitive. Oddly enough, I play so little competitive I thought I was getting silver every season until literally a month ago because I've been insulted for being a "silver" in Quick Play once or twice, and I thought the platinum logo represented silver. Then I had a casual conversation with someone, told them my SR, and then pointed out I was actually platinum. Oops.

So I got to diamond tonight by spending my time maining D.va and Soldier 76, and as I got towards the last 100 SR I started focusing mostly on Soldier because I find high level plats are more often crazy underwhelming as DPS rather than Tanks, outside of the odd dreadful Reinhart.
