What is considered average rating?

But heres the thing: The world doesn't need more heroes, it needs actual [B]L O R E[/B] to develop stuff off of. I mean the uprising thing was a god send because it actually gave us stuff to use and a decent amount of backstory for the characters.

You know I'm curious as to how they're going to delve into Reaper's story like Jeff mentioned in that twitter Q and A video (I think it was called Overwatch Support). Reaper is one of the silliest characters in the game with his immensely hammed-up edge routine, so putting him in a comic that tries to look at his tragic side or whatever would be something I could never take seriously. I'm guessing they'll go with a straight up backstory kind of thing, with a comic that shows Gabriel Reyes back in blackwatch, because he's an actual human being that could be relatable in some way, as opposed to an (intentionally) ridiculous caricature.

After Reyes was defeated and left for dead, sometime post Overwatch fight, the thing like merged with him. The thing keeps him alive with the use of bio-matter from other guys (hence the 'souls') but actively denying him death (his quote about the "curse", the smoke he becomes after being zapped by Winston in his short, etc). Or something idk.

For a company about story and details Blizzard is really dropping the ball on Overwatch's writing. The animations are great in terms of visual quality, but the pacing and characters just feel stiff and flat. Same can be said about the comics, although I tend to find them lacking in quality when compared with the shorts.

I have a neat idea. It would be cool if we got new character select animations, like when you preview a hero on the selection screen. Examples could be like Genji polishing his sword or Widowmaker hanging upside down.

Animated victory poses as rare drops too.

Blizzard can make interesting worlds and fun games, but the writing behind them have been weak for well over a decade.

Objectives directly next to death pits are no fun. :(
