remove loot boxes, make it so you get credits or other items by playing the game.

while they don't want per-hero progress because people will not pick according to gameplay, the progression system is this game is boring and they could still fix that some other way too.

other games take the approach of letting people do hero-specific progress in casual play (e.g. quick play) but make it so playing ANY hero awards whatever in ranked play

They let you reroll and give you crates that can guarantee certain rarities. I say that is leagues better then Overwatch's system.

Netherrealms Studios released Injustice 2 last week, and they included a lootbox system. However in the options menu you can toggle an option that makes all cases roll based on your time in a character.

Up the coins for dupes in events and I've fixed the crate system.

I'm still enjoying myself playing almost exclusively comp, I also like customizing my character.

I literally don't have time to grind several hours every day for what I want because of my busy schedule, especially now that I'm currently looking for a slight career shift while still currently employed. I also stopped buying loot boxes as a whole after the Christmas event because I'm getting tired of event-gated content and shit luck with RNG.
