I thought that I'd avoid the "You cannot criticize women in any way otherwise it is misonigy!!!" bullshit in this thread considering half the characters in this game are half naked women, but apparently you can't just tell somebody their work is half assed just because... they did it. Imagine I drew Genji's sexy butt and nobody'd be able to tell me my anatomy is shit and my perspective is nonexistant because that'd be homophobic, it makes no damn sense.

I've lost 200SR tonight just trying to from 2100 to 2300... With 10+ losses, 1 tie and zero wins and only 8 hours left of Season 4.
Pretty sure I should just quit playing video games like this because it's abundantly clear there's a higher being that doesn't want me to enjoy playing multiplayer games...

Way to strawman, literally no one said that. They're pointing out how people are being a little much when it comes to criticizing how women choose to dress themselves.
Criticizing someone's art is different when dealing with real life people and how they're able/willing to portray themselves. The line between amiable criticism and being weird & rude is a lot thinner.
I'm glad random hero mode exists. Otherwise I probably would never have tried Lucio or McCree.

It's weekend, so a lot more player are playing right now, its an event, so a lot more players are playing right now, it's basically summer now, so a lot more players are playing right now, so your chances of meeting people that are much better than you are are much higher.
I have the same problem, I went from 2600 to 2400 in last few days and 99% of my games were very one sided and on the maps that I absolutely hate. I play fucking Anubis more than I play any other map because I cannot choose what map I want to play.
Also the enemy teams were almost always higher ranked than my team, so yeah.
There's no "higher being", you are just unlucky in a luck based game.
Acting like Overwatch is a luck based game is the easiest way to hold yourself back and not improve and it's the most frustrating thing to hear.
Yes, you can get bad teammates, throwers, trolls, griefers, smurfs... But if you're soloqueuing, the odds of the other team having a thrower, troll, etc is exactly the same. The only variable in your solo queue is yourself, and if you're playing dozens of games and not ranking up, you're either an extreme statistical anomaly or you're just not as good as you think you are.
There is [I]always[/I] something you can do better. Sometimes your teammates won't be doing their jobs, but you can always do your job better, and make calls to your team to tell them what they should be doing.
I'm sorry, like I really am, but if you're stuck at the same rank or keep going down after a hundred games, it's on you.
Had to deal with a guy yesterday that insisted that he be allowed to play Pharah and someone go Mercy for him and he'd carry hard. His 54% winrate wasn't convincing me but obviously I wouldn't say that, I just picked a ground healer and let him do his thing... And he was the most average Pharah for his rank. But of course, at the end of the game, he's going off on the comms about the healers, the tanks, the other DPS, saying he was fragging out (read: he wasn't). That's not to even mention that he wanted Pharmercy, which is effectively 1 above-average hero so we were 5v6 the whole time and he wasn't fragging to justify that. I guarantee you this guy went into his next game pulling the same spiel, performing exactly the same, and hurling toxicity around again, because that's the attitude you get -- even if you're not so outspoken with it -- when you call it a luck based game.
Honestly, if you could choose to prioritize joining certain maps when queuing up, it would make playing a lot more enjoyable. Sometimes I just want to play a particular gamemode or a select few maps. I personally wouldn't mind being put into a different map if there were no available games of the type I wanted, but queue filters would be very convenient.

That reminded me that yesterday I was playing on Hanamura and stalled the last point push when it was at 99,8% on my own as D.Va until rest of my team respawned.
And then we held off for the rest of the round.
And then we won our attack and won the match.

Lijiang Tower Garden comes to mind.
Not sure if I'd call the maps as iconic as 2fort, though that certainly wasn't an universally loved map either. The Intelligence room was a mess and forced 1-2 players to hide away for the duration of the match. :v:

So apparently there was an overwatch event where they held a cosplay photoshoot, and this person did a bastion cosplay,but got stuck and couldnt move so they were in every character group cosplay shot, including this one

Why does genji's dash get replenished when he activates his ult? doesn't seem entirely fair, considering how powerful it is
