DDLC has literally converted me to anime, visual novels and Japanese stuff in general. Now I even want to learn Japanese. I have so much to do, I feel like this is going to ruin my life.

That's how I got into Kamidori Alchemy Meister which I'm playing now and absolutely loving every second of (except the hentai parts). Now I'm going full weeb and I've never felt so much fascination and respect for Japan before in my life. My heart jumps every time I hear anything about Japan, in the news or in mundane conversations. How bad is it, doctor?

[sp]I found out it's actually free so I decided to play it even while spoiled about the suicides, still hit like a truck. That plus all the creepy glitches (and music didn't help) and the file messing... Holy shit what a nice dose of despair. To think the previous VN I played was Danganronpa v3... Heh, the static noise+zooming in even reminded me of said game. Stop breaking my heartstrings/10 Sucker for (properly executed) 4th-wall breaking and corruptions and tragedies[/sp] Err, I meannnnnn, did anyone get into Natsuki's route? It's on steam. Another to check out would be VA-11 Hall-A. Part VN, part cyberpunk bartender simulator, it's characters are very engaging. If I remember right I played 4 different versions of the game before play the Steam version. Game so good.

Watching streamer reactions to the last act of this game is a pasttime fit for gods.

Hey folks- I need some advice on how to play through this with friends [sp]So we JUST finished Sayori's death and are still before the first poem before we called it a night to be picked up again on Friday. It's my second playthrough- my first, after Sayori's death, we went only for Yuri. Now I'm in the middle of my third playthrough, having picked Natsuki, and I'm learning that you get railroaded into Yuri's path anyways. My question is- which path is the best to go for? I know if you go for Natsuki first you miss a couple cool corruptions like her fucking eyes popping out but i forget what else. Should I have them go for Natsuki which leads into Yuri or is some of the stuff in Yuri's path before the two connect better?[/sp]

They're both pretty fuckin creepy in their own way, I found Yuri's to be more fear inducing than Natsuki but that's just me. Doing full-Yuri will connect better for obvious reasons but she still confesses and everything at the end of the day regardless. Guess it just depends on who you'd rather receive the creeps from more lol[/sp]

Beat the game today with all endings. Good shit, can't believe I skipped it over. Would recommend to anyone who liked games such as OFF or Undertale. [sp] Some of the meta stuff I felt was a little heavy-handed, but the emotional bits were very well done. [/sp]
