I hope they'll add some sets from the 90's

Such nostalgia
I loved these kind of sets

The old Technic sets are badass too. So are the (old) pirate and castle sets. Lots of childhood memories with these:

Also I'm sure this has been asked, but this is worth picking up right now? Or should I wait on it.
Also I'm sure this has been asked, but this is worth picking up right now? Or should I wait on it.
I'd say wait on it, there isn't enough brick variety right now to build decent stuff, and the whole exploration gimmick lasts about an hour or two before it gets stale.
How did someone unlock/get him
Thats a good question, I can't even find it via google.
So I bought this game when I was drunk, what exactly do I do? Is there any objectives, or do I just build?

FYI in Lego Batman 3 there is TDKR Bane(I own the Season Pass and it's part of it) so they better include content from that game. Actually, Lego Batman 3 has 130+ vanilla characters and ~160 with Season Pass, so including even half of them would be one hell of a great thing.

Don't forget the most sought after 90s set:

Although seeing as Lego doesn't want to be reminded of that set it might not be added in.
Lego Island still makes me laugh. Deserves a proper remake.
Lego Island still makes me laugh. Deserves a proper remake.
I wonder is Traveler's tales ever got requests to do a Lego Island remake, heck I wonder if they know it exists since they could've referenced it in Lego City Undercover.

If Lego Island was remade, they could easily be pulling concepts from essentially every other Lego game ever. And not to say DLC, but think of the DLC they could do for it. Lego Island 2's thing was visiting other theme islands. Lego Island base game, Ninjago Island DLC, Okoto(Mata Nui) DLC, Castle Island, Pirate Island, Lego City, Aquazone, Space, Chima...
They're sitting on huge cash cow that can last for years...

They still do the weird monorail sets, right? I think there's one in the City line now.
I really want to play this game but because of my shit computer it can't run. Once I get in game the world is all black and only objects and characters render. I would try fiddling with the settings but for some reason menus aren't working.
They still do the weird monorail sets, right? I think there's one in the City line now.
Nah, they stopped doing monorails after 1990 because the sets didn't sell well and buried the molds for them in the parking lot of the Lego Company. The set you're thinking of is this:

Which is a tram but it does look like it would be a monorail train.

Ah, I was thinking of this one. It looks like a monorail, but it's a high speed train on standard gauge track.

[sp2]90's Lego System sets ftw[/sp2]
The main problem with getting those sets into this game is that a shitton of 90s LEGO parts are retired from new sets, and I kinda doubt they'll be reintroduced. For example, in these pictures, see those little motorcycles? The big canopy on the police car? A lot of those window parts? All gone now from the new sets.
Really, your best bet is to build them piece by piece in the game engine with a copy/PDF of the instructions open, and substitute new parts for the old ones where you can. It's not easy, but one can get the hang of it well enough.

A lot of those pieces are still in Lego Digital Designer, though. So they have the models for them in a format that works with this game.

Lego Universe (RIP) let you use old pieces from those sets in free build. They basically had all the existing Lego bricks (including the useless ones) so I don't see why they wouldn't do the same thing here.
