For something that can be purchased for less than $90 there's no reason people shouldn't have one. I agree the loading times should be 30 seconds
Not everyone has the technical know how to install one, and not every single person will have the money on hand to buy one. I'm sorry that you feel like people need better specs for your convenience but shit doesn't work that way amigo.

budget is a fair point, and is why i also don't have an ssd yet, but the "technical know how" is being able to open your case and plug a couple of cables in that physically can not be plugged into the wrong place lol

You would be EXTREMELY surprise. I've worked help desk and simple shit to you and I is pure Latin to the non computer literate.

there are plenty of humans out there with (apparently) the fine motor skills and strength of a gorilla
i have seen things happen to sata ports you wouldn't believe
What SSD do you all recommend then? The Samsung 850 EVO 250gb looks good but I know very little about these things.
Holy fuck im so sick of buildings not loading at the start. I cant go to any towns because i cant get a gun.
One game i chanced it and went into a warehouse and it loaded a minute later with me stuck in a pile of boxes
When my buildings don't load I have to alt-f4 and reload the game. I think it's hilarious though that you can shoot at people and run them over through unloaded buildings.

I have this SSD, no problems with it at all. The downside is obviously having to set over provisioning space for your SSD, so you will lose 20 gigs or something then you will lose some more for Windows stuff installed on it. But you can always get 2 or more SSD's to RAID them together.

There is plenty of tutorials and what not, you can also see if you can find a friend or family member (yes, go to those family dinners or Thanksgiving whatever plans and ask that one techy person. Or even the gamer who's probably built their own gaming computer. They might hate you but it's worth asking).

Does a stiff breeze throw your aim off with that sensitivity?

Samsung makes great drives, top tier even.
Yeah I'm using the same model of SSD and it's working perfectly for me.

Yes, everyone has technical know how how to install an ssd. That is, if you have eyes and arms.
I can confirm game is much better with an SSD. When loading into the first game of my session I would normally spawn on the plane as it's actually starting to cross the map, now I normally get on the spawn island and have the whole minute to wait before everyone gets in the plane.

The 850 EVO is a mainstay of SSDs. I'm currently running a 250GB and 1TB pairing, with the 1TB drive existing solely to hold games. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade. Makes this game load noticeably faster, but almost every game on the drive benefits hugely from it. Usually I end up being on the first loaded in to a game on Titanfall 2, so it even gets around the Source engines weird level loading.

That's my exact one. Can't really go wrong with the Samsung ones.

I'm not the best and could def use work.
I'm not the best and could def use work.
I think you just need to try a lower sensitivity. High sens = any error is magnified.
I think you just need to try a lower sensitivity. High sens = any error is magnified.
It's not that High sens = JUST magnified errors.
Having to always mind compensating for the extra sensitivity takes away reaction time and it's also very strenuous in the long run to use such light movements (carpal tunnel).
Basically, it hurts you.
Freely aiming and panning with a Low sensitivity requires a ton more movement.
It's awkward at first but not only is this healthier, you'll develop muscle memory cutting down (sometimes completely negating) time between thought and reaction, while getting much more consistency in the actually aimed shots.
This is how one eventually develops that insane wrist-flicking, hand eye coordination everyone wants.
Bought the game yesterday, first and only win so far today. 1st person only solo.
Pretty fun game, my hands are shaking like hell.

Fucking bullshit.
What do you use your ssd for then?
Windows, and development programs.
Damn lost a chicken dinner due to the blue. It was me vs 2 guys, I knocked down one, and almost killed his buddy while he was picking him up, but JUUUUUST before the killing blow, the blue kills me.
Everyone on my squad ran into a huge drop in frame rates all at the same time and it ended at the same time. WTF.
In other news, tonight I had two chicken dinners with randos in first person squad. It was a good night.

Server-related performance drop.
Star Citizen has that as well, also using the Amazon services until their next big update that's supposed to fix a lot of that with different networking methods.

Nice, got more deets on that?
Nice, got more deets on that?
On the Star Citizen servers? Not much else aside from the 3.0 network update / upgrade that's supposedly gonna happen. Current servers have a limitation that prevents anyone online from getting much more than 30FPS client-side regardless of actual PC performance. Offline tests can be accessed using cheat engine or launch options, and some people have easily gotten 100+FPS in empty space.
For more info, you'd be better off asking elixwhitetail.
What that would mean for us in PUBG though, is the current servers used for it could be limiting our performance even before the fps drops.

i went to the school and because it didnt load i fell through it and ended up controlling the bottom floor when it loaded.
So two shotgun-wielding freshspawns walk into a prison...
