I do hope they get some more people on board in time though or this game will be dead in the water by the time it's actually released.

They need to make the gameplay smoother and then it will be great.
Yeah and some of the props are floating there as well, and it has those small buildings being too high up to walk through the doorway so you gotta jump up into them. I mean they could have at least spent more than a day on it.
It doesn't take more then a day to make sure props are not floating. It should be something you check AS you are placing the props.
Man, I like the firefights, but in solo modes you're fucked 90% of the times because of a random passerby setting up camp to fish for winners.
pubg keeps auto selecting me into asia servers even tho im in US  every time I start a matchup I have to select US servers. y [editline]15th September 2017[/editline]
Man, I like the firefights, but in solo modes you're fucked 90% of the times because of a random passerby setting up camp to fish for winners.
OR you just got out of blue with 20% health and ample supplies to fix it, and a dude comes around a building's corner with a tommy and guns you down in 2 shots, like with what just happened to me :C
pubg keeps auto selecting me into asia servers even tho im in US  every time I start a matchup I have to select US servers. y
Same, this shit is annoying. I have to select FPP each time I come out of a match, too.
Same, this shit is annoying. I have to select FPP each time I come out of a match, too.
should be a simple 2 lines in an INI file saving what selections we've made for servers and for game modes, christ's sake Bluehole.
Same, this shit is annoying. I have to select FPP each time I come out of a match, too.
I think edit of game txt file can fix it akin to setting custom screen resolution.
First game using the Mini 14, 5 kill chicken dinner. I had a compensator for it too. What is recoil?
should be a simple 2 lines in an INI file saving what selections we've made for servers and for game modes, christ's sake Bluehole.
Nah, the selector isn't exactly made inside the game, it's a web page that's not packaged with the game
I'd never won the game so whenever I'd watch the game and see the "chicken dinner" I thought it was like a custom winning text or something (I've only watched one person play the game), first time seeing it and I was really confused.
Nah, the selector isn't exactly made inside the game, it's a web page that's not packaged with the game
That still shouldn't stop the webpage from being able to remember data that can be stored locally, right? Just like how cookies can save data for webpages to read and change itself accordingly.
played a fog match in squads and got a chicken dinner. the last circle was really fuckin stressful. what a great game
Are First Person grenades bugged? In Third Person gamemode it gives a red line to target and you can throw far as hell. In First Person it's a red streak that doesn't show anything and the grenades only go about 10 feet. I was robbed of a kill because I couldn't grenade a 3 story building where an injured hostile was. Also, I haven't played third person this patch, so if they're bugged overall I am not aware.
That still shouldn't stop the webpage from being able to remember data that can be stored locally, right? i got some good clips to upload when i get the chance. me and my brother are so glad that shadowplay highlights exists. we've been spending months trying to run someone over while they are in the wooden shacks and finally last night my brother got one and it was so perfect. he hit just one corner and crashed into the boxes on the other side and the guy just happened to be in that corner. later that game he did a sweet jump over one of the buildings near mansion in a uaz and was probably about 1 metre off of clothes lining a dude on the roof with the car and taking him out too. when he landed the uaz fucking launched him into the ground and killed him.
Gettin a weird bug with the new update. Once I get on the ground all the buildings are super low res and mushed up. I'm Able to go through the walls until they properly load in. Every match this happens
Bit of a shame they forced higher settings with the latest update. I know that lower end users really aren't a big part of their interest, but all the same many of us are (for various reasons) stuck with older systems. I actually had the game running fantastic, almost 60fps most of the time with 35-40fps drops in cities, and I was totally happy with that, it was still just smooth enough to not interfere with aiming accuracy and such. But this latest update killed that, runs damn awful in cities now and inconsistent otherwise. Trying to just ignore it and deal with it but lost a few rounds today to horrific framerates. Hopefully they can just isolate the one exact thing that is causing some kind of gameplay affecting divide between low and high end users, and work on that... allow everything else to remain low as needed. Is it just shadows? Is what it is, I know. Just venting. Can't wait until life unfucks itself and I can finally afford some upgrades. Spent my last $15 on food today, it's depressing. Also how rare are skirts?! No matter how many crates I open it's always black shirts and brown pants, madness.

Game is never as well optimized so buildings take forever to render for me. My only quick fix around this is to just open up my inventory and it 'forces' the game to render the buildings nearby me
Nah, the selector isn't exactly made inside the game, it's a web page that's not packaged with the game
Maybe they shouldn't have made it that way then? This game's main menu is a crime

Man the new fog weather feels like I'm dropping into Silent Hill every time. It's kind of really silly, but I also enjoy the changes it brings.
I love the fog weather map. Doing blind drivebys in squads feels like this now.
Okay so I got some birthday cash and with that I'm gonna buy some games. I see a lot of people on my friends list playing pubg and it's been very popular lately, I think the gameplay looks very fun and I like the premise of a good battle royale type game. I've been reading the steam reviews and a lot of them mention microtransactions during early access, getting banned for virtually no reason, and performance issues. My question, is the game worth paying 30$ for? Should I support the game by buying it or should I wait for sometime? thanks

The microtransactions were used to fund the Gamescom tournament and have thankfully fucked off. The "random bans" aren't random at all and almost every single one has been justified. But the game still runs super weird. Seems to be a lot smoother as of the most recent patch. Despite the game now seemingly enforcing some minimum graphical settings that aren't the low and very-low I'm used to using in the game.

I managed to make a small profit from the game due to selling the loot.
