Does anyone actually like the fog maps? I just find them tedious and frusterating. I hate being killed by people who are literally invisible.

I actually love them. Fog and rain have provided the most interesting (and, in my opinion, best looking) gameplay. I had a hilarious #2 finish on a fog map, where I killed 10 or so people.
I think PUBG slotted me into an Asian server despite me picking NA before hitting Ready.
There were english speakers in the starter island, but once the plane was supposed to load, the server froze. Everyone just dead-eye stared at each other for a minute before finally loading onto the plane. Wasn't just me either since the plane was still at the start, followed by horrifying network lag notifications.

It's in the game already, it was added last week. This new update is just adding some UI text to the Map Help section, to tell players it's an option.

I was thinking about making a strategy video but decided not to cause I don't want my strategy to catch on. I want to keep it to myself. Today, for the second time, I managed to get consecutive chicken dinners. I checked leaderboard and got this. I think I peaked.

I'm hoping we can get some kind of pistols/shotguns only mode. I like this game and all but every single game devolves into people with rifles plinking at each other from behind trees. The first 60 seconds of a round is the most interesting.

It's alright, I enjoy the faster pace and having some actual action for the first 10 minutes of the game but it's usually a little too RNG based for my liking.

I find getting into one of the covered jeeps, driving at people then switching to the back seat and first person shooting at them while still rolling towards them to be an effective strategy.
Everyone just stops to fire at the drivers seat despite me not being there

I'm guilty of that. My teams never seem to talk and always choose the most populated dropzone leading to their instant deaths. I honestly can't recall the last time I was matched with someone using a mic. When I bought this, I was expecting a lot of screaming kids at least. Turns out everybody's silent instead.

Just fatfinger your thumb on space and c and you'll get it almost every time just fine even without practice

Honestly just see it all as a bit dumb, instead of just leaving it they've now put a bandaid over a problem that isn't a problem because some people screamed.

9 out of 10 times? I can't be that lucky to get matched with three pre-made men. I'm on EU, by the way. Unless I forget to switch from the AS server, that's set on default for some reason. People actually speak there though.
My buddy I sometimes play with said the Xbox version is coming out next month. Apparently the guys at gamestop told him so. I told him they were full of shit.
I thought the Xbox version didn't come till next spring? All I can find about it is a pre release late 2017, and full release 2018. Whatever that even means at this point.

Friendly reminder to be careful when you kill someone holding a grenade
ughhh i was trying to compile all my funny grenade kills and shadowplay corrupted my favourite one.
i went into one of the hangars on the airstrip and i had like 8 boost items and 3 first aids, laid them out in a line leading to the back corner of the hangar to where the first aid kits were. some fucking dude drives a uaz, trying to get in, but crashes into that invisible object inside the hangar that prevents you from driving into them for some reason. he backed up and parked next to the entrance and walked in.
he didn't take any of the boosts but he crouched against the wall and looked outside. i waited for a bit before i decided to just throw a grenade at him. he would have never seen it coming.
currently working on some jihad kills, almost got one today except i survived by accident.
