I LOOOOOOOOVE when I press shift to sprint, but my character doesn't even register the input. I was standing up and had no reason to not be able to sprint, and yet, the game was like "Naaah m8 just jog at a leisurely pace while you're gettin' shot at, no problem." :tableflip:
Yesterday i killed a guy with the break action shotgun in an open field, he was shooting me with an m4, i thought i was dead cause i didn't have any rifle, so i tried using the shotgun in long range and... it actually hit! I didn't even have the sg choke!
A lot of games have shotguns down very wrong. Most have them have some ridiculously impossible spread cone, probably intentionally for balance. In real life they really reach a lot farther and have a more narrow spread than video games portray

Alt tabbing usually fixes it from what I recall.
So, uh... is the SMFC ever going to be updated? :v:
[T]https://image.ibb.co/iZUAab/20170928172222_1.jpg[/T] Got into a duo game where half of the players didn't connect and got my first chicken dinner :v:
So last Saturday i finally got PUBG, and 4 hours in the game i got my first chicken dinner. All my teammates died, i had to camp in the bathroom in a nearby house and when the circle shrunk i ran to the field, and just popped the shotgun. btw i almost got a chicken dinner queuing with a group of asians, i'm still impressed how you can play this game with minimum communication
So, uh... is the SMFC ever going to be updated? :v:
i doubt anyone cares enough to update it when it was just a meme in the first place
What this game needs is swappable camera position like APB and Max Payne 3 have, so you can change what side the camera is on. It's unfortunate when you know your enemy has a close quarters advantage based on what side of the wall they are on from you. The camera position can decide a firefight simply because one person will have a better camera position and their see and have a shot on the other player while that person's camera will be half looking at the wall with the reticle blocked. It's a serious game flaw that I'm surprised has yet to be addressed.
It does CTRL + Q/E
This does not work for me nor is it in the options. Are you sure? [editline]28th September 2017[/editline]
dont play third person then
First person looks very strange compared to most games, and they still haven't added a slider for FFP sensitivity despite having a slider for every other mode / scope.

The only issue is that holding right click in first person makes your sens higher for no apparent reason if you use high fov. Just remember that the sens sliders in the options are total bullshit. Change it manually in the configs.

I'm talking about third person camera position and how having it locked to the right side provides forced disadvantages on otherwise equal ground. It goes to whichever side you leaned last unless they changed it. The sensitivity sliders in the options are really stupid and their values aren't actually used for anything directly.
The swapping shoulders only happens when you fine aim, if you aren't aiming then you'll always be over the right shoulder.
So, uh... is the SMFC ever going to be updated? :v:
Once I get a load of updated assets to work off, the current maps out there are outdated and I'll need to rip them from the game at some stage.
TBH if a helmet has an open face like the LVL 1 and 2 helmets do, I wished that the hitboxes only counted for where the helmet actually covers your head. I just had an encounter where I directly shot a man specifically in the face with an m416 while he had a level 2 helmet, and he didn't go down. It just made me realize how silly the current hitboxes are when it comes to helmets.

Having helmets just be a hitbox modifier makes way more sense.
I've heard that this mechanic was already implemented, and believed it. That doesn't seem very logical.

Having helmets just be a hitbox modifier makes way more sense.
Back in the day APB only had one big square hitbox for the entire body, or a small square one if you crouched. It was a major criticism of the game, but they said they did it because the servers had to handle 60 players all moving at once. We've advanced a few years since then and PUBG has standard hitboxes you'd expect from any shooter, but still the server load proves to be a lot and hit detection can get really fucked sometimes. Having a face hitbox would increase the number of hitboxes the game needs to track by up to 100, initially. Technics aside, another issue is that unless you grant stats to the ballistic mask and gas mask (removing it from player inventories in the process), you'd leave the Level 3 helmet as the only item in the game that protects against headshots in a face-to-face fight. That would have a strongly negative effect because if you are shooting at each other, whoever has the Level 3 has protection and whoever has the Level 2 may as well just not have a helmet..
I'm not sure if he's blind or thought I was dead, but I was watching an airdrop and some guy ran right past me.
Also here is what I was talking about earlier: The person on one end of the wall has a major advantage because the camera position is locked to the right shoulder.
You can fix this by leaning to the left if you were the left guy in the image, then soft aiming (no ADS) This shifts the camera to the left where you can see down the hallway.
Yeah but that requires you to be aiming to see around the corner there. There really should be a way to switch camera sides without having to aim.
Yeah but that requires you to be aiming to see around the corner there.
