Yeah but that requires you to be aiming to see around the corner there. There really should be a way to switch camera sides without having to aim.
Oh no I wasn't disagreeing with the fact that it is an issue, just stating something that can help alleviate it for users who don't know. It is pretty shit that you can't switch shoulders without having to aim.
Being zoomed also means you can't see as far around corners. Not being able to switch shoulders in normal mode has the additional effect of not providing any indication of which shoulder you'll be using when you zoom.
Apparently I find grenade kills hilarious
I was able to find this on sale for just under £20, i think that's a fair enough price for giving this a shot. We'll see how this meme game holda up, shall we?

Do you think it would be better if players started off with a pistol in their inventory? A smaller 9mm pistol, a little weaker than the P92 that you only get when spawning in. 30 rounds. Would help even out the starting chance of getting fucked for loot in a contested area.

Idk I kinda like the chaos of the start of the game when you're trying to find a single weapon.

I don't know if having a starter pistol would be a good idea. Part of the game is making sure you plan your jump right after all.
Just don't drop right next to other players and you can't get RNG'd.
If anything I'd prefer a lvl 1 backpack to start but at the same time that is sort of the point of the game, to land with only the clothes on your back (or lack thereof if you're one of those people)
So here's something I've been wondering. If I'm prone out in the open but appear on my screen to be hidden by grass. And someone is looking in my direction from such a distance that to them the grass hasn't rendered in. To them am I just lying down in the open or does the game hide you at that distance.

They've said they're planning on using armas system for hiding the player at a distance in the future, but they say they're gonna do a lot of things.
Wow so all those times I've been crawling through grass thinking I'm being all stealthy and cool I actually look like a total idiot. Great. My fantasy of being Big Boss in this game has been shattered.

They're still good for mid range battles.
I'm guessing FPP stands for first person perspective and is also broken seeing as I could play in third person?
duo games become way more fun once my teammate dies and I have to try and make it to the end using my own wits against pairs, but I dislike solo queuing for duos since it takes away that feeling that I'm making it for my friend as well. Also, the K98k is way more fun than it should ever be allowed to be, blasting an unsuspecting guy in the head is so satisfying.

My mate actually dropped his at the start of a match once and was shocked to discover that he couldn't pick up anything anymore :v:

Like, the starter pistol would hurt less than punches while allowing you to have a smaller increased chance of surviving in distances. Maybe like, a Kolibri, idk. Why do people say this game is hard again?
Well my first match went well. First one to die in just under 30 seconds with the theme of shooting stars in the background. It only gets better from here.

Do people really consider it bad etiquette to go into the safe zone immediately and hunker down in a house? I find it incredulous that people call others out for this sort of conduct in a survival game.
Do people really consider it bad etiquette to go into the safe zone immediately and hunker down in a house? I find it incredulous that people call others out for this sort of conduct in a survival game.
People find it cheap but its a legit strat, house hopping can be massively successful and besides, grabbing stuff then avoiding players tends to be a good way to win, but also one of the more boring ways to play.
Hiding in a house is the safest and most efficient way to get to the final rounds, but the trade-off is twenty or so minutes of downtime staring at a wall being paranoid about people coming in and murderising you if you take your ears off of it for ten seconds. There's nothing cheap about it since it can only carry you so far.
I dunno if it's boring. When I'm hiding in a house somewhere around the middle of the zone, I get a minor heart attack whenever I hear something that I think may be a passing car or a single footstep. Polish comic that sums the game up perfectly: [t]http://chatolandia.pl/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/battlegrounds.png[/t] 1) - What are you doing? - Playuing PUBG. I'm sitting in a bathtub hoping noone will find me. Such emotions. 2) And now I'm hiding behind a crate, throwing smoke around me. Noone will see me. N'on. 3) I'm hiding in grass and waiting for everyone else to kill each other. 4) Two last players died in a car accident. I won without firing a single shot. Best. Shooter. Ever.

The fact that you are suggesting something worse than Pistols is already funny, since PU made them awful by design. Do people really get upset that other players won't willingly be their sniper bait? Taking a strategic position is just smart, and often enough you have to assault and defend said position from other teams.
Arma's system isn't going to fix anything, they'll still see you clear as day, you'll just look slightly shorter / flatter, but still fully visible.
That's not Arma's system. Arma's system means that at distance, you'll appear as clipping slightly into the ground, you wouldn't be fully visible.
That's not Arma's system. Sounds fine to me, even if it's not perfect concealment it should work well enough. Just having a backpack or my afro poking through the ground slightly would be enough to stop most players from spotting me instantly at least.

Setting ambushes like this is a great way to score easy loot without having to play risky and scavenge around yourself. It's embarrassing when you've setup the perfect ambush and no one actually shows up though.

At the end of the day only thing in PUBG is Live or Die and as long as you play fair it doesn't matter how you get to one or the other.
