After the 4th or 5th circle I don't even enter houses if I don't need too. And if I need to that means I'm not properly geared so I'm fucked anyway.

My preferred strategy is this, but whenever someone comes into the house I'm in I jump out windows and duck into another house, then repeat as much as I like until the person wises up and figures out I've been leading them around like a moron, or when I see them and take a few shots at them.
My best run was these 3 two story houses next to each other, I pull up to one and park a UAZ in front of a door, run to the side door and almost get murdered by someone in the house next to it. I close doors and go up stairs, I can hear him come out of his house and go into mine, I used this moment to jump out the window over the door he came in, closed it on him, and ran into the house he was in while getting on my mic saying "Howdy neighbor, now I'm over here!"
He goes out the front door, making the UAZ make noise because it was moved, but I did the same thing and jumped out a window over the door he came into this house in and ran into the 3rd house. It was this last time the dude had to have said fuck it, because he took the UAZ and bolted.
Best game of hide and seek.
First game of the day, I land on the West observatory for a level 3 helm/armour and an 8x scope. I kill a guy shortly after and find suppressors for everything. A couple more kills and I have a fully loaded M4 and SKS, level 3 everything, plenty of ammo, tons of meds. Then I use a bike to push to the best spot of one of the last circles, keep getting good circles, picking people off from a fuckboi. Ended the game like this. Not the most kills but the best game I've had.

Because I was hanging out there biding my time during a redzone when someone comes up in a buggy, enters the house, and proceeds to just non-chalantly walk right into my view and kill me before I had time to react.

If it's the type of ledge I'm thinking of, it's possible you clipped through the wall so he knew where you were.

On another note, I've been dropping either School or Military Base every single game for the last few days to dry and sanitize myself to this game. Whenever I get shot at or encounter a person I'm jumping or panicking like a fucking idiot and my heart gets racing even though there's still like 80 people left.

So I havn't played in a while, loaded into a solo for a change. Dropped in, got a Mini-14, 4x, extended mag, and a suppressor for it all in the same building.
Proceeded to take 2nd in the match and got like 15 kills. I was nailing people from 500m without having to adjust my sights or anything. Really overpowered weapon to be honest.

The 5.56 bullet drop (or lack thereof) and projectile speed makes it a really powerful rifle. Shit I've had better luck killing people with the Scar-H at range than any of the 7.62 rifles. My longest kill to this day is still a Scar-H kill at just short of 600m.

I'm really good with the SKS, but the mini-14 took my sniping to a whole new level.
I like how I go from an RX480 being 50-60 fps constantly to a GTX1080TI being extremely erratic anywhere from 45 fps-120 fps.
Dam son this game needs that optimization badly.

I often do that when I end up with a mini14. That thing is insane. Couple it with a SCAR or M4 and you're a powerhouse.
Mini14 with a supressor is just... take me now.
Couldn't agree more. But I do love the M4 as a SCAR alternative mind you. The kickback is minimal and I love the way it sounds haha. But that mini14 is unstoppable, even in close quarters, the total lack of recoil lets you aim so perfectly no matter what.
I know everyone is basically sick to death of win screens, but today was a great day for me. I haven't had many wins before and I always cock up the final top 10 push one way or another. I guess I just get a bit panicked (same old story). Today I just changed suddenly and started being WAY more aggressive... what a difference. The blue nearly got me a few times but I was just plowing through people. Had 3 chicken dinners in total, didn't screenshot the first for some reason. I'm normally used to my rare wins being with 1 or 2 kills at most, and mostly because I kill steal haha. But every one of these were hard earned today, and that final game was intense... both of us going at it with M4's, level 3 everything, I just got lucky really but god damn what a rush.

The thing with the SCAR though is the irons are awful and impossible to aim well with so you absolutely have to find some kind of decent optic for them. M4, M16, Mini-14, I've made do with irons just fine when the RNG decides to not drop a single optic but the SCAR doesn't work with that at all.
I'll take an M4 over the scar anyday
