Ping and packet loss are huge advantages in pubg. You get absolutely nuts peekers advantage.
I get packet loss almost every night because of my shitty ISP and boy I will tell you it really sucks. You can't hide behind trees, it's difficult to go inside a building through a door, when driving a car it jitters, falling off buildings. It's unexpected when your character will just randomly teleport a little bit extra forward, which makes it really difficult to deal with. They really need to fix the packet error checking netcode.
i love the people in this game
why does this game absolutely insist I play on asian servers? keeps defaulting to either asia or oceania and its a bit annoying when I'm used to just click match right after losing a solo
why does this game absolutely insist I play on asian servers? keeps defaulting to either asia or oceania and its a bit annoying when I'm used to just click match right after losing a solo
It changes game modes for me too, I have to manually set it back to FPP after every match.
why does this game absolutely insist I play on asian servers? keeps defaulting to either asia or oceania and its a bit annoying when I'm used to just click match right after losing a solo
Because making the game create a txt file with your saved settings to default to after every match is too hard, you know

Why they haven't hotfixed it is the real question.
Minor thing Pubg added a 'mail.ru' shirt to the test server, it was also renamed to 'Telnyashka' looks like this, but since the image on their server is Access Denied, have photo [t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/97/Telnyashka.jpg/220px-Telnyashka.jpg[/t]
Eliminated the fire animation and effect that occured in the Starting Airplane when a player was on fire from a molotov cocktail
Noooooooo
Noooooooo
game ruined
Noooooooo
Why would they do this. First they remove looking inside the plane and first person sky diving, now this.

Nothing is sacred, everything is permited.
Noooooooo
I was wondering what caused that :v:

I do my best to take careful aim against people at long distances but I swear I only hit like 30% of my shots while they can just whip right around and two-shot me with a headshot.
Nothing like 2 Chinese death squads (like 8 people?) teaming up in Squad mode.
The devs have went from constant community interaction to silence. A little bit bothered by that.
The devs have went from constant community interaction to silence. A little bit bothered by that.
There was a blog post today though
I like everything about this game except for the part where I actually have to shoot people, or get shot at. I don't want to sound "whiny" when I say I don't have fun dying in this game but I can't stand playing more than one round at a time, especially when I'm fully geared with medkits and it's down to the last 20-30 people and I just get one-shot by someone without getting a chance to shoot back at him or anyone. I've tried forcing myself to just run from house to house and keep moving instead of staying in the circle and hiding it out, but even then most of the time I'm just running around without seeing anyone. Most of the games I seem to play drop down to 30~ players left before the first circle collapses.

I'm finding that the more hours I'm putting in the better I am getting, but I still have the occasional round exactly like you describe, and yeah, it gives me the shits too. But also this is the kind of game where that one in ten win just seems to make up for it. I got really shitty usually whenever I died as suddenly and frustratingly as that, but I've taken a step back and learned to look at it as a learning curve. If I die, I'll curse at myself and then think for a moment about what I did wrong or what I missed. That just seems to make it far easier and genuinely does help in the long run... it's all about understanding what you could have done better and learning from that. I usually only get INTO the circle for the first time when it's at about 40 people, I spend the first 20 minutes or whatever just looting at the furthest fringes. Many many times I've come roaring in and just got popped by a Kar98, or gone to stop and had 2 people descend on me. It's just how it goes, but I learn from each mistake. How many hours do you have on the game now? I'm at maybe 80 or so and it wasn't until I reached around 60 hours that I started being more aggressive and confident. It's the same for my brother and friend - it seems there's a certain point where you just start to absorb and improve.

And I don't really care about winning. I'm making it to the top 10 usually just by doing nothing. My biggest complaint is that getting killed isn't "satisfying". Very weird thing to say in real life. The game could at least show me the direction in which my killer was.
The devs have went from constant community interaction to silence. That gameplay experience you're having of spending half an hour looting up only to get one shotted later on in the game is a beginners trap. Stop dropping with the intention of looting and hiding, start dropping at hugely populated areas. The prison, school, mylta power plant. All great. Spend rounds and rounds just brute forcing these types of games, where you'll drop in to a hectic fire fight and have to fight desperately to survive. Chances are you'll die in minutes but you'll be desensitizing yourself to some of the tense responses to gunplay in this game and you'll be gaining valuable, raw gunplay experience. Not to mention it will help take the sting off seeing that death screen. Eventually one of those rounds you'll be the sole survivor of one of those drops, and you'll most likely go on to finish the round and probably win. There's some psychological aspect to it, I think. You feel so much safer when you're fully looted up and sitting in a house. When you have to crawl out of a gangbang firefight with minimal loot and meds, you'll find yourself thinking a lot more on your feet. I'm not saying you necessarily have to improve your skills with guns, but there is somewhat of a mental block to engaging in firefights in this game you really need to remove to play effectively. Another tip I'd have for you is to do all of what I just said, but in a solo squad round, where you match against other squads as a singular person. It's basically like that 10x gravity training in DBZ. After ten or so rounds of that, you'll come back to solo and find everything much, much more manageable.
When your gear is so good that you feel bad about winning a game. The feeling of being immortal suddenly fades away and then you realize that you wont get it again for weeks. Also silenced-M416 with a 2x scope is an absolute beast.
I do my best to take careful aim against people at long distances but I swear I only hit like 30% of my shots while they can just whip right around and two-shot me with a headshot.
Gunplay in this game seems incredibly random to me, there seems to be no guarantee of what I'll get. Some examples in my experience: - Taking careful aimed shots with an M16A4 8x while still on a DBNO enemy about 100 meters away, with most of them flying several feet off target. - Moving while leaning and then firing the M16 ironsights "automatically" by mashing click while in burst mode and nearly instantly kill my enemy 25m away. - Using the Vector from a still aimed position, firing down from the roof of Hospital and not even getting a single mist on the guy running for the front door. - Moving and shooting with the Vector and getting DBNO on people 20+ meters away behind gut-high cover. Twice.
PUBG just uninstalled itself after updating?? Did this happen to anyone else? edit: Nvm I guess all the files were still intact but I still had to "re-install" it, which took 5 seconds.
Dropped in on the Military Base along with everyone else. Suprisingly I ran into a building alone, grabbed a shotgun and just started blasting my way through the base. I ended with 5 kills and died when I tried to shoot a guy driving a vehicle with a shotgun at a long range. He just jumped out and gunned me down lol
Noooooooo
I've always wondered what was up with that fire, I didn't know it was from molotovs at warmup
I thought it was the plane crashing and was why we had to jump out? Not that we weren't all trying to kill eachother anyway.
Looks like the update fixed the resetting to AS third-person after every match glitch And replaced it with resetting to NA third-person after every match

[editline]17th October 2017[/editline] 28 seconds now that they fixed me defaulting on Asian servers.
