Ikr. With the new physics PUBG is a better NFS than NFS: Payback, spent whole matches just driving and doing backflips, it was fun.
Haven't seen the new physics or NFS, does this mean it's good or it's bad?
Haven't seen the new physics or NFS, does this mean it's good or it's bad?
In one game you can drive around and have fun ...and the other is just another Electronic Arts disappointment.
So now the game drops framerate when looting and I know it's not me only too GOTY ESPORTS READY
So now the game drops framerate when looting and I know it's not me only too GOTY ESPORTS READY
Literally Game of the Year.
At this point, I'm just waiting for the 1.0 patch so maybe the game won't be complete chore to play at times.
Yeah, I shouldn't have played the PTR now I feel like I gotta stay away from live because it gives me the heebie jeebies.
So I played some squads last night, it was my first time playing in forever. Two games in a row we get killed by obvious aim-botters. We decided not to play a third. GAME OF THE FUCKING YEAR.
What region are you guys who constantly run into cheaters playing under? In all my time playing I've rarely ever run into cheaters on EU. And the few I have are largely people just shrugging off damage like it's nothing (admittedly this could just be the shitty hit detection). I can think of maybe one aimbotter I've come across that was blatantly cheating.
What region are you guys who constantly run into cheaters playing under
NA servers. There really isn't much to miss from live, game is devoid of a progression system so I would have liked if they left the PTR open-- improvements aside, it's PUBG minus the cheaters.

God damn ACOG's, rifles, and rifle silencers are the best. Then also the worst when someone else has them too.
Suppressors were a big help while starting but any decent player will find where I'm shooting from and vice versa, so I prefer compensators now.
Suppressors were a big help while starting but any decent player will find where I'm shooting from and vice versa, so I prefer compensators now.
Suppressors decrease the range in which your shots are audible at all.
Suppressors were a big help while starting but any decent player will find where I'm shooting from and vice versa, so I prefer compensators now.
Suppressors are a nightmare in the hands of someone who knows how to effectively use them. Me and a friend were crawling through the grass towards the end with about 18 players left. A group walked up on us and got into a firefight with someone else. I killed one team's wingman and his friend was unable to find me at all, this was all within the span of about 20-30 meters. The key to mastering suppressors, besides absolute range, is to take full advantage of the chaos and confusion a scenario is generating.
Suppressors are a nightmare in the hands of someone who knows how to effectively use them.
My point wasn't to devalue the suppressor itself but to appreciate the value of the Compensator, which goes up exponentially the better the players you face against. Good players will find you whether you make a noise or not, as I will find them. Then the only true advantage is better aim stability. That make any more sense?

Yeah... it does, Bullets make a set of noises that give all that information. Awkward.
Yeah... it does, Bullets make a set of noises that give all that information. Awkward.
Except that those sounds don't work more of than than they do.
Yeah... it does, Bullets make a set of noises that give all that information. Awkward.
When he says "haven't seen or heard" he's referring to when suppressors cap the actual audible range of a firearm. Like, there's a certain distance that you can't be heard at all with a suppressor. So it's very difficult to gather the information you need from a sound you cannot hear. I guess the impact noises could take you some of the way, but I still think you're seriously undervaluing the suppressor here.
I still think you're seriously undervaluing the suppressor here.
How lol, I said the Compensator gains value, not that the suppressor is bad or it gets worse. It's not mutually exclusive.
How lol, I said the Compensator gains value, not that the suppressor is bad or it gets worse. It's not mutually exclusive.
Well you implied that there's a certain level of skill one can have that makes suppressor use against them just flat out impossible. Like you can only really effectively use suppressors against newbies or something. I don't think that's true at all.
So apparently... you can adjust the pitch of your bike in mid-air. And I'm just sitting here, having flashbacks to all these times I hit air and mentally gave up before even landing because I started gently tipping backwards and didn't know that. And I never complained about it or mentioned to anyone at any point so no one could call me a dumbass and correct me. I gave myself a bike PTSD for no reason. Everything is a lie.

So I've been killed by DrDisRespect and Xmithie now. The Xmithie one was... interesting, to say the least. Last 4 alive, 3 from my group vs. just him. He completely fucked us. We all went straight to his stream after seeing his name at the end, he had like 17 kills and was praising our tactics though. So that was nice.
How lol, I said the Compensator gains value, not that the suppressor is bad or it gets worse. It's not mutually exclusive.
I honestly think a compensator is useless. Round placement and steady fire rate will help you better in the long run. The only barrel attachment I'll run is either a flash hider or suppressor.
I honestly think a compensator is useless. Round placement and steady fire rate will help you better in the long run. The only barrel attachment I'll run is either a flash hider or suppressor.
Round placement and steady fire can be accelerated via compensator.
Fun fact. The flash hider. Doesn't hide the muzzle flash. Only the suppressor does.
It makes it smaller and less likely to occur, but otherwise it's just a slightly less effective compensator.
