[editline]13th December 2017[/editline] also i fucking love pubg and i don't care what anyone says. me and my brother got our account up to the top 500 players in oc for solo. i've never played a game where i am good at it but fuck me i am good at this game and it feels awesome. over the past 3 weeks i've had at least 3 wins per week and thats only from playing it about 3 nights a week for a few hours. it's also cool because this is the first pc game my brother has played and hes the one who plays it the most and got the account to a high rank.

There should honestly be a temporary hold on playing the old map for now. It's frustrating as fuck to have to reconnect every game cause you wanna try out the new stuff.

i don't actually like the new map after all. it looks better and runs smoother, but it's way too full of stuff - you will maybe have a firefight with the people that dropped with you, but after that the mid game drags on forever since there's so much stuff to loot. when you actively try to look for fights with a vehicle but fail because you can only find one or two people, there's a problem. you can't even try and find crates to fight over for most of the time, as the planes fly too low and if you do find one there's probably no one even there due to the mentioned reason. endgame circles on miramar are great though, but the buildup to those is too boring to make it fun in my opinion.

Also, the early game fights in cities are so much better on Miramar. Also- has anyone else experienced the bug (a video was posted a while back) where the plane kicks everyone out at the exact same time/place? It needs to be a feature. One of the best matches I've played, even if a laggy mess.

I'm sure that familiarity has a lot to do with the way you feel. I don't know Mirage enough but urban combat feels more intuitive to me.

Anyone else been randomly falsely banned from the game? I logged on today to find that I've been randomly permabanned and I even have the shitty "game ban on record" flag on my Steam profile, yet there's no reason for the ban, and I can even play on test server. A lot of others on the official forums have also been banned but there's no way of knowing who is legitimately innocent and who is just using the old "my brother was playing" excuse. Appeals seem to wait an age for a response and the response from what I've heard is usually "we reviewed the ban and are upholding it" or "it wasn't us, contact X". Seems like a pretty shitty system :v:
