waited till the airplane forced me out and went down as fast as i could

grabbed a shotgun from a nearby house and find that more than half of the afk players i planned to kill were already dead due to another player killing them via los manos.

try to kill the player and the straggler afk'ers, embarrassingly miss the non-afk player at point black ranges due to overestimating spread on choked shotgun, run out of ammo.

kill player via fisting (watch out UK'ers, you don't want to be arrested from viewing [I]this[/I] event)

then i decided just to see how long i can last, and surprisingly enough:

I didn't even mean to make it this far. I made sure to do stupid shit like run into the thick of the battle, only to find myself a decent survivor. Causing chaos as one man in a squad game sure is fun!

Was just down to 2 people. me and one guy. We are both outside the circle, and its closing in fast. Im much closer to the safe zone though. Hit him a few times then keep running while he hides. Right as im about to enter the safe zone, game crashes. Lost.

honestly it doesn't matter for modern games because save files are on ~the cloud~, if your ssd loses the game data you can repair it with most service providers or just reinstall it.

man i swear sometimes the hit markers are lying. i was in a shed sniping some people down at the last 10 people. some guy rushes the shack with a scarl so i get the jump on him and pop the door open just before he gets there and unloaded on him with an ak and even though i had level 3 everything he still fucking beat me.

one thing that used to piss me off that i can never get pissed off at again is getting headshotted while driving around after i landed a headshot kill on a buggy from one side of rozhok to the other (~400m) with a kar98. because i used to die like that all the time and get really fucking mad because theres no way someone can land a shot like that, now when someone lands a shot like that it makes me laugh because i think about how ridiculous the kill must have been from their end.

I probably could've been #3 or #2 even if I didn't get aggressive with full auto and run out of bullets shooting at some guys in a house, leaving myself with a shotgun and like 50 meters away.

What's really annoying, though, is the game awarded me 360 credits or so and it didn't fucking award them to me.

Drive at a guy, snap it to a stop, jump out, hard ADS and shoot.
What does my character do?

Got some downtime;
Was talking to Kiwi about this last night
Since Mixer was a partner to the gamescom invitational, at one point they had a interview with Greene and Sammie about shit as well as showing off the Xbox Build that Microsoft have been working on (was meh, nothing groundbreaking).

Greene mentioned that there will be specific vehicles and weapons to the new maps. Which got us thinking about what these could be for a Mexican desert setting. Maybe the standard weapons will still be in play, but the drops would be different.
I expect the Dacia and UAZ to have replacements.
Erangel took them a year to make, with their 14 man team at that point in time. With having more offices and teams working on the game now this should come down drastically, but I can still expect it to be a long way off given the scale it's been placed at. Weapons, Cars, Material assets. I should expect it before release, the third map, no so much

Literally 3 separate teams tried to bust into a house my friend and I were holding up in for the first circle. First one I was alone until my friend arrived (we got split up), so I incapped the first one trying to come up the stairs, let him go, jumped out of the balcony, and outflanked his teammate who was trying to revive him. The other two teams got annihilated by our overlapping fields of fire when they tried coming up the stairs. By the end I had a silenced X4 SKS and was picking off the last of them merrily, and only the last one managed to put up a fight. Bloodiest game I've had by a mile

The easiest way to land on the radio array is to come in parallel to the stairs and hit the pylons. Trying to land on the actual stairs can cause you to have very bad time in my experience.

took a two week break, thinking I'll get back into this game. I didn't.
The game is still crashing for no reason, the servers are still the worst at the start only to get better once 80% of the players are dead, the rng is still fucking me up every single match and finding the crates of the people killed is near impossible as it seems to just drop randomly around the area which is why I didn't even bother looting the people I've killed. This game really doesn't deserve the hype it got for how broken it is.
