What *IS* this man?! http://steamcommunity.com/market/search?appid=578080&q=military
fucking sick of playing playerunknown's pistolgrounds. is it too much to ask for proper loot distribution?
Not having any hit feedback is really annoying. Played a couple of games and in the first one, I heard a guy running around a corner I was hiding behind. As soon as he spotted me, he immediately backed up and I ran around the corner and started spraying at him. We were point blank at each other and he kills me. I watch the replay and apparently I didn't even touch him. And then I land next to a bunch of people, grab an SKS, and I start chasing a guy down. He runs into a container and then runs straight out and punches me. I get a point blank shot right in his chest but it doesn't kill him. Then we both immediately get killed by someone else. It was already hard enough for me to shoot things in this game, now I can't tell if I'm actually shooting things or not... [editline]28th February 2018[/editline] I also just want to point I'm really awful at aiming. Honestly thinking of making a compilation of my terrible aim.
Every time your client registers a hit it produces a fuckhuge bloodspray particle. If you have trouble distinguishing them then maybe try colourblind mode, makes them bright blue if I recall correctly.
I don't know how, but myself and all my teammates seem to have gotten so much worse at the game. How can that be?
I don't know how, but myself and all my teammates seem to have gotten so much worse at the game. How can that be?
You can't objectively get worse but your motivation can decline. Do you play constantly? You won't perform well if your aim is good but can't concentrate, too much is bad and you get caught in a loop, make the same mistakes, get frustrated, etc. Play other games. It'll force you to break the habit and pay more attention upon returning. You don't play enough? Start playing a bit more. Maybe you're into the game but your aim is shaky, that only needs practice. Keep a balance between the two or you'll feel dissatisfied and go under, the secret to gitgud in this game is concentration and being battle royale you need to have it up the whole time, it can be quite fucking draining.
so this is what pubg looks like without lag and chinese aimbots i mean there wasnt even a second of delay when she picked up the items now if it was only like this outside the korean/japanese servers dONT JUDGE ME I JUST SAW IT IN MY RECOMMENDED LIST AND whoever the actual player is he/she plays pretty good i wasnt expecting that smooth-ass aiming from this kinda video i mean hell she killed 3 people with the first 30 bullets she got
You know, I'm honestly surprised a 'virtual streamer' isn't a huge thing on twitch. It seems like that would rake in some bucks; use some of that face capture software, distort your voice, and boom, you don't even have to show your face.

Here's some insight into how good I am at aiming
For those who haven't heard, H1Z1 got a vehicles only mode along with its launch and it's actually extremely fucking fun. I'd love to see something like that in PUBG.

On another note: who else spent a whole two hours getting absolutely fucked and kept hopping back into a game thinking "this fucking time. Just one more game. It'll be different this time I swear to god." [sp]I'm not very good at this game :C[/sp]
Landed in Pecado, looted a house with an M9 and an M16, ran to the little warehouse with the busted roof next to the arena and waited behind some crates in the corner, some guy runs in and the opposite corner of mine, looking out the garage doors. I climb on the crates and shoot him twice in the head, then took his stuff. This was probably the scummiest kill I've landed on someone v:v:v Edit: Have some crime scene photos.
I just noticed that the issue of the brown boots not having spikes has been fixed. Instead of adding spikes as implied, they instead replaced the icon to one which doesn't show spikes :downs:
I think Pubg is turning into it's own 'Delet this' meme, and it's all the dev's own doing. It's wonderful.
I just had the stupidest death. I had just picked up an M249, ghillie suit, and a military vest from a crate. I started to jog away when I heard someone climb the hill behind me. I turn around and watch him start running down the hill and he hasn't noticed me. About 50 m away, I get him in my crosshairs with the machinegun instead of the sniper rifle I had, missing every shot, giving him about 3 or 4 seconds to figure out where I was and then gun me down. I don't know why I didn't use the SKS, I guess I had never had the machine gat before and wanted to use it but I hated myself so much for that :v:
you can die from missing your shots on someone any time, may as well have fun using a new gun doing it
I've played over 125 hours of this game but still consistently melt in 1v1 engagements. It often seems like I'm dead before I can even aim down the sight. Even when I get the drop on someone, they usually just shrug off the damage, turn around and mow me down almost instantly. Is this normal or do I just need to get gud? Is it the poor FPS from my old machine (I feel like it isn't, but maybe)? Or can anyone recommend a guide or something on how to play correctly?
leaning is a super important thing to do when in a fight. it reduces your chance of getting hit in the head, meaning you can shoot for longer. other than that, never shoot without cover unless you have to. always get in cover before shooting if you can.
Playing PUBG is like a mix between ARMA and Silent Hunter -subsims: You need to use basic combat survival techniques while being more aggressive, since camping gets you flanked more often than it doesn't. EDIT: In case you didn't get the Silent Hunter part:
PC players, Our test servers are going up this week! We are currently polishing and debugging the test build. We are going to be introducing an in-game friend system, voice chat in main menu and vehicle and limb penetration system. We are going to need your feedback on all the new features, especially the new penetration system, so please join our test servers later this week. Detailed patch notes will be posted in a couple of days. We hope to see you there!
https://forums.playbattlegrounds.com/topic/189173-upcoming-test-build/
Well damn, that's a decent change I didn't see coming that I've always wanted.
Glad limb penetration will be a thing, have lost 1v1s to arms being in the way. Vehicle penetration sounds like vehicles will end up being fucking death traps though. Unsure if I like that. Not that they are perfect now but...

Vehicle penetration beyond what currently exists is completely unnecessary. You're already pretty bloody vulnerable in vehicles, and anyone who can aim worth a damn can pretty reliably snipe you right out of a closed roof UAZ without much effort... Why on earth would we need more areas for bullets to be able to get at you from in one?! They're SUPPOSED to feel like this fleeting shrivel of safety in a bad situation - you know you're probably still going to get fucked up in one, but if it buys you just enough time to get over that next hill with your friend or squad before it's tyres are popped and it's about to explode, then it did it's job perfectly. I hope it's a VERY minor change and they put more effort into all the tiny little bugfixes that are needed instead of silly changes to well established and completely effectual things like this.
new season off to a good start [t]https://i.imgur.com/W4alMZF.jpg[/t]
Vehicle penetration sounds like vehicles will end up being fucking death traps though.
I see no utility in this, vehicles are dangerous as it is, proper auto control and you can kill an entire team NP. I'd much rather building bullet penetration based on caliber/thickness/material, now that'd be a fun game changer.
why is it so hard to punch people when they're downed still after this being an issue for over a year
why is it so hard to punch people when they're downed still after this being an issue for over a year
Because you need to crouch to hit them at that level.
Because you need to crouch to hit them at that level.
But even then you're lucky to not hit the pavement with your fists while trying. Melee weapons overall just don't feel good to use.
