so in the last thread I posted a vid of a friend flipping the car, well he did it again the lucky fucker. also notice that it's flipped by Mjolnir obviously disguised as a traffic cone
I would, but...
Also, the flow of air is downwards. I'm pushing cool air in the back and out the bottom.
OK that makes a lot more sense now
Scored my first solo chicken dinner after playing constant squad games.
It was great, I barely had a kit. A level 1 backpack that I barely had enough for a combat load (around 90 rounds for my M16. The zone was closing in north of Gatka and it was out in the open. I took down another player that I sneaked up from behind while the zone partially covered a building; the player was in the prone and I just snuck into the same building. I popped him with a round of my shotgun and looted his corpse and replaced my 12 gauge with the 416.
Pushing out to the open there was already a skirmish going on in the field. I noticed in the killfeed that one of the guys had a M14 so I kept low. The circle also had a chunk of a ridge so I just low-crawled to get up on the high ground. Another player had the same idea and I managed to finish him off with a few pops.
By sheer luck the smallest circle concentrated at the foot of the ridge which forced the last player to come up against me where I promptly killed him as he tried to push up on the hillside.
I fucking love the rush when you manage to reach the top 10.
So has anyone encountered this issue with a Radeon card? I just updated to the newest Radeon drivers yesterday and now every 15 minutes in PUBG I get kicked to the desktop. It's the most infuriating shit when you've got an excellent amount of gear for the game to just crash, over and over again.
Does a chicken dinner count if you die from a one punch KO at the beginning of the game and then play on your phone for 30 minutes while your teammates carry the game?
Cause that is probably the reason my first win was less than thrilling.

Dinner is dinner. Dont matter how the chicken got to the table, it just did and its delicious either way.

rollback until it works.. if it ain't broke don't fix it.
(had a buddy who suffered instability because he updated his ATI drivers on a whim; a build from a month ago should be fine)
Finally figured out what the buzzing noise that just spews out of my mobo is when I play pubg and pubg only after asking a friend who works in IT:
Coil wine (VRM or something like that).
Yep, PUBG is so unoptimized that it's literally killing my motherboard. (I suspect it's got to do with the absolute clusterfuck that is it's ram usage).

It isnt any one game that will cause coil whine, its just a defect in one of your inductors making it vibrate at an audible level. Sometimes this is because your PSU is pushing slightly lower voltages than it should be making that thing work at just the right frequency to be a pain in the ass. I have heard of using hot glue or nail varnish on the noisy inductor but I have never tried it.

ludicrous.
next you people will be declaring pubg.exe is causing your erectile dysfunction and turning your pet frogs gay
I took my car to a track day, and the track was so poorly designed my car overheated.

The game's broken for some people (including me) since the last patch some days ago. There are also threads about it on reddit, no solution yet.
So it might actually be that, instead of your drivers
I wish they would just remove the bars from all windows, those things are fucking infuriating.
I wish they would just remove the bars from all windows, those things are fucking infuriating.
My gun clearly fits between the bars video game. Let me shoot the men. I can maybe understand shooting into the bars at a distance, just excuse it as "uhhhh recoil dumby!!!", but if you're pressed up against the fucking things they shouldn't be a problem really.
After finally winning a few squad games now I'd like to think I've improved. But it's really hard to tell at times if you've gotten better or if that particular game was just full of absolute morons.
Did you know that fabric window curtains can block bullets better than a level 4 vest??
Neither did I, and neither did the guy I was shooting at.
I really dislike how cars can be blown up so easily just by firing at them, this should not be so easy. I feel that it would be justified if we could use grenades or heavy caliber guns. Since so many games end somewhere in an empty fields, having a car to use as cover could be more vital.
ludicrous.

While I will say that my advanced early onset erectile dysfunction was likely caused by excessive masturbation and solder fumes, there's no way in hell that the frogs that live around my house suddenly started adopting all the colors of the rainbow by themselves. Seriously though, these fuckers seem to have camellion powers because I've found the in every color from neon green to metallic gold (striped).
Will get documentation for both (coil whine and frogs) when I get home from my mini vacation.

No, it was drivers. I rolled back to 17.7.2 of Crimson ReLive and now I can actually stay in game.

ReLive drivers have been notoriously unreliable for me so I stay back in version 16.
ReLive drivers have been notoriously unreliable for me so I stay back in version 16.
I haven't had unreliability until the latest drivers pushed out recently, so I'll just hang at this update.
Only thing that irritates me is the update before it, I could adjust my graphics card clock values through MSI Afterburner, now I can't with 17.7.2 which is odd. I do have the latest version of MSI Afterburner too.
Edit:
This game also is making me consider getting a GPU water cooler if I can put it on my card, the fucking thing can get to 70C/158F when I'm in PUBG.
Latest non-whql runs fine for me, actually saw a performance boost. But then again not all cards are equal, might just dislike it.
I would still love to know why this is the only game that I can't run with my GPU overclocked. No other game crashes as consistently with a fairly forgiving OC on my 970.
I just want a slightly more stable framerate dammit.

What's your CPU?
Also, just put everything lowest except view distance. Maybe have shadows at medium and AA at ultra.
I don't really expect anyone to watch this whole thing, but the other night my buddy decided to force 3 of us to watch him sit in the back of a uaz for an entire game

Voice chat recording is always quiet for me, dunno why, so you'll probably have to turn it up after the intro.

i5 6600k, I haven't tried OC'ing that however.
Part of the problem is I have a 144Hz monitor so I want to try and keep as close to 72 FPS at a minimum as possible, even on the lowest settings this game just can't manage that some times. It's much better than it was when I first picked it up, but it makes playing first person really fucking painful at times.
Uzi should be a sidearm, not a primary
things not to do: hide under that one roof where you have a 1/10 chance to get stuck in
