That is incredibly unlucky. I think one of my games must have stolen the supply for others as I was tripping over the things at one point.
I only played the first two days, maybe they changed the loot settings after. All I can remember finding was stuff that didn't go on shotguns/s12k, maybe bullet loops if you're lucky.
If you guys want to really experience Tequila Sunrise like how it should be.
I can host us a War mode of it later today.
Trust me, its hilariously chaotic.
oh god
Will they ever have a proper changelog so I could see why the updates are so huge
or better yet will they ever switch engines because this one obviously is terrible for this sort of game
They do have actual changelogs, you're just too lazy to bother checking.
Unreal is honestly one of the better engines for open world development, they're just using it poorly.
The reasons why updates are so large is due to Unreal's package system, make a minor change and you have to ship the entire package.
Its the same issue with basically every other engine but source (unless its made to use vpks) that is currently on the market, they all use package systems.
play fpp, although i'm on the oc servers, might be different for na. if the game made it easier to manage friends in game you could add people you play with.
Had a match of War where I guess one of my teammates was mad that he died because I focused on killing a enemy that was approaching us and attacking instead of reviving him while the enemy shot me in the back. I say that because he and two other players on the team spent the rest of the match just team killing me after that.
War plays so much better when DBNO is disabled and lowest respawn timer.
I don't know why they kept it at the default for the official mode, its dumb.
Me and the boys had a few games last night, and won the very first through some shenannigans. Despite dropping out into the middle of nowhere on Miramar the zone had blessed us the entire time. We didn't see another player until we were in the third or fourth zone and there were like 20 of us left. And then the crate gods smiled upon us and two drops landed one after the other right next to us and nowhere near anyone else.
5 kills each later and one lost team mate I have come to the conclusion that the M249 with a 4x scope is totally unfair if you can get the bipod out. Suppression AND accuracy? What more can a boy want.
Wait till you use it with an 8x or 15x, you thought the bolt actions were effective at distance?
That thing becomes a laser of bullets at all ranges with them while still being perfectly viable up close by using the hold ads.
M249 is underrated.
new pubg update looking gooooooood

Ayy, finally won another solo squad queue
I need to record it because getting to that final circle was some SILLY shit
I'm really bummed they did away with the War event. That's the most fun I've had on this game in a long ass time
Yeah, I actually had fun playing PUBG for once, plus I managed to get a bit better with shooting guns and stuff.
Added, please don't think about my name too much
While I'm generally against timed events in multiplayer games (seriously, what is the objective benefit to stripping away content after you've added it?), I think it's a really good fit with PUBG due to how it's rounds work. That being said, War worked really well, and should honestly come back as a permanent inclusion for the sake of practice. It worked too well within the mechanics of PUBG to be a timed event.
Daily reminder all you gotta do is poke me and I can setup War lobbies.
It's funny that the mobile version got also an event mode update but there you can apparently choose whatever mode you want. Wouldn't surprise me if if they added a map selector once the other maps get ported over.
i cannot get over how much fun i'm having on mobile.
i've been playing it even when i'm at home and can play the pc version.
Pretty sure it's still in closed testing
Introducing Map Selection
Holy shit I never thought I'd see the day.
Nice!
Also, why is it that almost every time I start Steam, say a few times every day, PUBG does some kind of update. Sometimes it's 20mb, sometimes it's 2mb, others it's 400. What is going on... if they're actually updating things, and at this frequency, I'd really like to know what each update is doing. Aside from being annoyed by it, I'm just curious as I'm sure everyone else must be.
Some of these updates are so small that if you're on a 20mbps connection or faster you probably won't even notice it update when steam launches.
I find it odd they speak of the method they chose as if it took a humongous amount of deliberation, it only seemed natural.
Now, with (almost) 3 maps and a 4th coming sometime later, I do think they should limit the ability to uncheck maps to 2/4 then, otherwise finding lobbies will feel.. mmm, special.
The small updates are likely anti-cheat related with them updating a minor package, if you use a network analyzer like wireshark it'll show you exactly what its downloading.
Dunno if this was ever posted but i lol'd
