I sincerely doubt that it would take substantially less time to make a big arm wrapping gauntlet, especially since they already have that asset for the omni-blade. It was a distinctly artistic decision.
I was trying to make an excuse for them, but hey, this works too
[sp]Well that was a disappointingly easy final mission.[/sp]
you also clearly get the old-style omnitool overlay on your arm when you interact with doors and shit too anyway, I'm enjoying the game thusfar. The actual gameplays pretty nice, and it's nice having a lot more skills and so on available. Not quite the ME1 feeling I liked, but a nice mesh of that with ME3. All the crafting and stuff feels a little unnecessary, though. I suppose I have a lot more to play before I can give a more informed opinion on that, but I think I'd have rather they put time into cleanup, more detailed cutscene animation and polish than the crafting and it being open world. Awkward New Boss female!Ryder is starting to grow on me, though, despite the wonkyness of a lot of the early dialogue. I'd like to know what the Kett's end-game after exalting the entire universe is. [sp]They have no reproductive organs. So, theoretically, if they win, outside of cloning themselves (which isn't ideal for genetic diversity and whatnot) they absolutely fuck their entire species. It just becomes "well, that's that. Time to wait to die now."[/sp]
The original looked like a big, cool holographic readout. The new one looks weirdly more physical, and dull.
'weirdly physical' is exactly what I was just thinking about how to express - every single other hologram in this universe has thin, transparent sheets... why is the omnitool display this chunky opaque box as if it's a physical object?

Physicalized holograms have been a part of the series since its inception. Omni-blade? How about any drones that you shoot out (of your omni-tool by the way..). It's just a design choice. The old version looks super last gen, and I could 100% seeing the size of the original just being way too clunky in the way they wanted to design it. Also, the animation wouldn't change dependant on each design. Both have instances of bringing up windows with their omni-tool, both display things, both are just bringing up your arm and tapping on it.
The new one would look better if it were a more vivid bright orange color like the original trilogy, because right now it's on the verge of a dark brown. Brighter colors help make it look more like a hologram.

Don't know how valid this is, but I'll post it anyway.
Tweet doesn't exist. What was it?
Tweet doesn't exist. What was it?
Something about Windows 10 update breaking FPS in Frostbite games. But was deemed incorrect like 20 minutes after it was tweeted.
Maybe spoiler tag the quote in case he changes it.
Yeah, I'm a complete moron. [editline]11th April 2017[/editline] It frustrates me [sp]that I have an entire floor of my ship dedicated to nothing but meetings and vid calls and nobody ever seems to just want to call me.[/sp]

Is the ending of the movie night quest always bugged no matter who you romanced? My first playthrough Peebee and Ryder were inside each other doing the same animation. Second playthrough, Jaal was holding onto no one with Ryder not even in the shot. Was half expecting her head to be sticking out of the sofa or something with how strange my first encounter was with the quest.
Didn't bug out for me, but there were some jerky head movements.
So I remember reading about a method of using Barrier and Lance to basically get an unlimited use instant cooldown Lance by having it use shields instead of being on a cooldown, and barrier having an instant regeneration thing so it was basically unlimited. I did that, and it doesn't work? What am I missing? For ranks 4, 5, and 6 of Barrier I chose the bottom 3 and for ranks 4, 5, and 6 of Lance I chose top, bottom, bottom respectively. Did I choose the wrong ones? Or did it get patched out? Or am I missing something. Because as it stands I only get 4 lance shots off before my shields are completely depleted, then it takes 8 seconds to start recharging and 9 seconds to fully recharge. ALSO I feel like my character has fucking awful survivability compared to other squadmates. I'm a Vanguard with a few tech choices thrown in, and my HP/Shields are 308/502 respectively. Right now I'm running with Vetra and Drack. Vetra's HP/S is 806/1006 and Drack's is 870/974 What the fuck am I doing wrong

It's a 50% reduction in the delay for shield regeneration when in cover. Is that the one?
I mean it's probably just a case of development constraints, but the same aliens appearing on different planets could be explained as [sp] some sort of intervention by the Jardaan to populate the cluster after they terraformed it.[/sp]
Late as fuck but whatever [sp]The Jardaan did not have time to finish their work and had to get the fuck out of the Heleus Cluster before they were anywhere near done, so I assume they could only come up with a handful of fully-fledged functional species before running out of time[/sp]

Top selection rank 6 enables instant regeneration behind the barricade. I was calling it a barrier, my bad mate.

I need points in combat for my next rank of Vanguard anyway. Any idea about my HP and shields? I feel like I shouldn't be so heavily outclassed by my squadmates...

Ohhhh shit. So, I made the Hornet SMG and put the grenade launcher modification on it. HO-LY SHIT This thing is so much fun. 3 round burst of grenades. I just wish I had put this on my fucking Soned. Imagine, 188 grenades spat out of a minigun at high RPM. Imagine the fucking CARNAGE. I need more Eiroch fluid sacs immediately I HAVE to make another soned with this modification

At one point Drack took on a fucking fiend singlehandedly with me and still lived. :v:
They need to change consumables so they don't get used until you actually get in game. I just burned two consumables trying to join a game, it was putting me in a game in progress so I was taking my time selecting my mods then when I was ready it went to a loading screen and then booted me back to the title screen. STILL BURNED MY CONSUMABLES.
Drack and Cora are the best companions on a pure gameplay perspective. Drack is downright unkillable. Cora is a tamer form of tank who also acts as a vanguard and a combat medic, since she can replenish the team shields
question: am I going to be boned at any point if I don't pick up biotic stuff or lots of combat abilities? I don't like the lack of classes so I'm just kinda sticking to a ME1-esque technician playstyle (pistols, tech abilities and grenades) and it's working out thusfar but I don't want to get to a point where I'm gimped because I didn't touch anything biotic [editline]12th April 2017[/editline]
Drack and Cora are the best companions on a pure gameplay perspective. Vetra's a better tank in my opinion, what with her armour ability. Although then again Drack and his health regen is the most tankiest, plus high health and shit.
