wots wrong with Garrus-la? u talkin' shit boi?
Hey, I bring Vetra along everywhere, together with Peebee. She's not a bad character by any stretch of the imagination, but it's pretty clear she's basically a female Garrus and nothing more (only, with parental issues instead of knight templar issues)
Dude, listen, my alternatives were either Negashley or Garrus-la, give me a break
You know you don't HAVE to romance someone
You know you don't HAVE to romance someone
My actual reasons to keep playing Andromeda are enough scarce as it is.
There's several points where I desperately wanted to be Shepard because I KNOW Shepard wouldn't have taken the shit Ryder just took with a smile.
This makes me want an option to punch Keri just because I always punched the journalist in every playthrough of the trilogy it is tradition
Dude, listen, my alternatives were either Negashley or Garrus-la, give me a break
Negashley? You mean Female Pagan Min?
Beat Mass Effect 1 yesterday and jumped into Mass Effect 2. Again, been years since I last did either and it's fun to go back and see things with new eyes. ME1 still holds up pretty well overall, though its flaws are more apparent than they used to be. It's a much smaller game than I remember, sidequests are pretty "same-y" and involve a lot more useless travel to pad time than they should. Characters are also not as strong as I remember, now that I'm seeing them divorced from ME2 and ME3, but Wrex, Ashley, and Kaidan still hold their own. Shepard is also more boring in ME1 than I remember, which was kind of a shame. Still a great game, but hopefully if the OT ever gets remade they'll go back and spend more time on areas that were lacking. Feros and Noveria could also use a big overhaul; visually, they're bland as hell. Also, going from the ending of ME1 straight to the ME2...man, it's like 2010 all over again. What a huge jump in presentation, from the visuals to the sound design to the voice acting. Reminds me just how big a leap ME2 was at the time. And I still maintain it has some of the best art direction the series has seen, Andromeda included. Especially in ME2 where he lectures her about just how full of shit she is.
So which other romance option has great dialogue? I've done Peebee so far
Vetra's romance melts my heart.
So worse recent Bioware villain: Corypheus or the Archon?
So worse recent Bioware villain: Corypheus or the Archon?
Bioware itself
Corypheus at least had a decent line or two. Archon has nothing.
So worse recent Bioware villain: Corypheus or the Archon?
I won't annoy anyone to death with the details, but the latter. The former has, at the very least, a solid lore and artistic design behind him and, while the whole thing is as anticlimatic as it gets, [BOTH ANDROMEDA AND DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION SPOILERS] [sp]you actually get to fight him, instead of just interacting with a console a couple of times[/sp]
A lot of the background stuff with [sp]the Archon is pretty cool, how's basically going rogue and defying the Kett Senate for his own good. Really wish they expanded on the kett more than just 'they're evil'[/sp]
A lot of the background stuff with [sp]the Archon is pretty cool, how's basically going rogue and defying the Kett Senate for his own good. Really wish they expanded on the kett more than just 'they're evil'[/sp]
There's so much they missed out on. [sp] - The Kett Civil War - The Archon breaking with the Senate - The Kett Ark Ship you're on in Liam's Loyalty Mission - The lack of exalted Salarians/Krogan after 'Hunting the Archon' Like ffs, right now the Kett are just generic space baddies with little to no background/lore.[/sp]
Corypheus at least had a decent line or two. Archon has nothing.
Damn right he did: "Beg that I succeed, for I have seen the throne of the gods and it was empty." He ended up being fairly lackluster as far as being an actual threat goes (though the Haven sequence was outstanding), but he had strong on-screen presence. Great voice too.
Don't fuck with Shepard Or you'll be the one getting fucked
There should be a DLC where you play as [sp]a Kett in the Archon's backstory So there can be a bit where he goes "I am the Senate."[/sp]
You know you don't HAVE to romance someone
HERESY
Damn this game is still lovely to look at (with ALOT and a Reshade installed) [t]http://i.imgur.com/FnN44fN.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/nmS22cd.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/MOzH5wb.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/rh2xcur.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/iWuZLL0.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/N8josc8.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/qVTsbra.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/rwymYoE.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/z6E6t1Z.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/HeCe0eB.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/MTXfuzE.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/fFtlIFL.jpg[/t] And Turian guarding the quarantine district is still one of my favorites for a bit role. "It starts with a cough, then you start coughing up blood, then...well, then I shoot you."
Anyone feel like the city hubs in Andromeda felt "dead" compared to Mass Effect 2 city hubs? Sure citizens would talk but it was nothing really memorable like the Elcor bouncer or Batarian preacher in Omega.
They remind me of SWTOR. Which isn't a good thing
All I remember from SWTOR were just guards everywhere in cities.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/FnN44fN.jpg[/t]
You reminded me, that I wish someone figured out a way to let you use that helmet in ME2. Nice to have the armour, would like the full set though.

It has that armor, but I'm not sure about the helmet.

I'd've loved to know this mod existed before, but BNS is terrible for searching mods.
Re-upload where? Back in the days that site was the only place to host mods.
To the Nexus, probably. That's where most ME mods go nowadays, I think. [editline]19th April 2017[/editline] I know people there would be glad to have your mod.
In ME3 I just [sp]Shot Mordin[/sp] I feel like such an asshole but my shepard does [sp]hate aliens and thinks the genophage was a good thing. I'm going to have to do a paragon run of the trilogy to make up for my sins [/sp].
Anyone feel like the city hubs in Andromeda felt "dead" compared to Mass Effect 2 city hubs? Also, people are constantly talking about nothing in particular, and it overrides real conversations you want to have with people and clutters up the subtitles. Geez, Bioware, what are you doing?
