Well this basically concludes my feelings on MEAs multiplayer, it's so un fucking believably fucked and the team needs to be entirely replaced

Its a shame that the characterisation of the Nexus is limited to a few iffy, medicore quests like the Nilken Rensis one and protest over cryogenic release, with there also being the utterly bizzare and tedious Contagion one which has very little pay off at the end That and occassionaly coming back to see a new one-topic NPC like "CONCERNED WOMAN" at least try not to make it so on the nose Bioware

So instead of 0.1% of pregnancies being viable it's something like 4%, a huge increase. Besides, Krogan have clutches so they'd probably have more kids than that at once. You'd only need a few Krogan to have a successful clutch to have a lot of kids running around. [sp]And Kesh has a clutch by the end of the game too.[/sp]

I mean it doesn't even make sense for kids this old to be around anyway since they obviously didn't take any kids with them when they left. I assume the concept artist just wanted to draw cute shit and boy did he succeed

When they say their kids I'm not sure they're talking about actual children and are probably more referring to young adults who were brought along - like Ryder. It makes no sense for them to bring children along since everyone had to take sterilization medicine specifically to not have kids as the whole project sets up. It's literally a bunch of useless fuckers running around causing potential hazards and draining your food supply, you wouldn't want them around until you're sure it's possible to have them without draining limited resources like a motherfucker.

Replaying the trilogy. I miss how fast ME1's galaxy map was.

Now I want to see a class of the younglings. The salarian nerdy kid, an asari snobby princess, a krogan 'bully', a turian jock, and an angaran as a shy new kid. Like Recess or Little Rascals in space.

Patch is coming in about 4-5 hours, no change log yet. But it does add a new casual outfit and nomad skin for people with the Deluxe Edition.

I really love Mass Effect's aliens. When the game was new, it trounced a lot of sci fi norms/tropes about aliens. They're well designed. It's too early in the morning to summarize my thoughts neatly but I like that there are stereotypes about the races but individuals frequently break them, whereas in a lot of sci fi media (Star Wars, Star Trek to name two obvious ones) aliens of a particular race are generally all bound to the same culture and thought process. Except vorcha. Vorcha take the whole "all members of this race are evil AND they're all ugly and evil looking" thing and run with it. Fuck vorcha
