THE FUTURE IS CHROME!
So in other words, no, they have to make it chrome and have the ability to reflect light.

Why release patch notes before the patch? That's really annoying.
Any clue if they fixed the "Map" bug where the game would lock itself when traveling to a system where a anomalie were detected?
Didn't expect romance options to be added in updates honestly.
Now let me fuck the krogan.
The entire logic and reasoning behind making Jaal bi is baffling to me. I really like the game for what it is and all, and I'm glad they're working on other issues with the game, but I feel like they're trying too hard to pander to SJWs with shit like this.
Even the way the Angara are written feels like they're pandering to tumblr fanfic writers and social justice warriors.
Jaal is an interesting squad mate, but I didn't like the angarra in general
Romancing Jaal should be an option but he should be like "nah m8 im straight no homo let's just be friends"
Love shouldn't be a one-way street
[sp]felt pretty good when I friendzoned Peebee[/sp]
Jaal's interesting because he has nuance. He's young and uncertain about his place in the universe and it ties in perfectly with both Ryder's own motives and [sp]the whole god creator thing[/sp].
This however is just absent from the rest of his species and Jaal could have been literally any other race without losing an ounce of his character.

Pretty much how it is when you try to romance anyone who's not interested in you but Tumblr wanted to see some extra gay aliens so Bioware caved in and pandered to them.
Not every god damn character has to be bisexual by default

Let them get on with it? Not exactly diminishing your experience and it wasn't hard for them to do in the first place - the voice files were already in the game
Both the Angara and Kett are horrible designs, especially the Kett
Most of the Kett tech aesthetic is just a super watered down version of the Grineer anyway
should have played up the whole genetic tailoring and bone armor shtick

It is diminishing my experience because it feels more and more like the game is designed to pander to a specific group of people rather than actually be well written.
And making every character bi or gay in RPGs is getting old.

Oh yeah, it's super Grineer to the point where I wonder if the dev team played a shitload of War frame

You could easily run the Kett back and have the version encountered in Andromeda be some sort of messed up mutation that went rogue. The whole assimilation thing could be used for an actually interesting race that stands out, not just "More boring locusts".
Like seriously how do you design something so fucking boring

afaik there's no major changes to jaal's character until you actively try to get to his gay dialogue tree
quite frankly, if you need to go out of your way to experience their "change" in the character, it shouldn't bother you
there's literally nothing wrong with adding more relationship options to a character that was originally intended to have them anyway. what you should be concerned about is the fact that jaal and the angara as a whole fucking suck in the first place
The new aliens in Andromeda just kind of suck all around. The kett are a really generic evil slimy sci fi baddie trope and the angara are just... ugly. The kett are worse than the friggin collectors.
Ugh

Mate, you have to go out of your way to trigger those specific things, your complaint sounds like you were deliberately looking for it and convincing yourself that it was targeting you personally
In other words it's not forced on you to progress in the game so in this narrow sense your complaint doesn't hold water
It's mostly about the fact that the Angara are so fucking poorly written and everything about them feels like it's designed as fanservice for tumblr. Which worked, because every time I looked at tumblr after each Andromeda announcement my dashboards got flooded with quadruple-reblogged posts about how cute the Angara are.
The Angara are fucking pussies, I don't like how they are or how they look, they're just annoying.
Seeing Jaal naked was a nightmare itself. I'm afraid of what the females would look like.
Speaking of Angara wussification, there's one thing that bothers me more than it should. The wee mini-quest where you learn about their laws and culture, and it brings up their doctrine on war and proper conduct of it. And it literally says something along the lines of "although we fight a foe that strives to exterminate us in the worst ways possible, we must still uphold chivalrous conduct, and not resort to similar means" or something along those lines
like, motherfucker there's less than around a million of your species left in the entire cluster, you face an enemy that refuses to communicate or negotiate and will stop at nothing to either wipe you out through force or through their agent-smith final solution scientology concentration camps. You're vastly outgunned and outnumbered, why would you give mercy to a foe that would neither acknowledge nor show it in turn in the first place.
They're written too 'perfect' if that makes sense. I mean shit, Javik refutes the whole "we can't be that cut and dry" sentiment in the last game, and he had every reason to given the nature of the war.
I don't even think the Angara are that cute.
They're not, they're just annoying really, the females still look like shit aswell, I thought they would've grown on me with playtime but they really fucking haven't, the designs are absolute garbage.
The more you look at this game though the more it does feel like it panders to the SJWs.
I don't think there's a big 'sjw' agenda behind the angara having a crappy design. They just have a crappy design.
I was bothered about how they only talk about how their bodies can do stuff with electricity, and even use it in combat, but you never actually see any of that happening. They made it sound super interesting but never seeing it in action just adds to how boring they are.
Would've been cool to see it used in a way that worked in synergy with their weapons, but nah m8, they use Thermal Clips like we do, new galaxy, same tech hahaha.... :suicide:
The angara seem like they made up a big board with "Alien Characteristics," then circled a random amount, wrote them into the Codex, and then didn't worry if that reflected the writing in game or not. They are definitely not as fully realized and thought-through as the original trilogy aliens.
The Angara are such fucking mary sues it's aggravating

Actually untrue. There was a company wide design mandate, and you'll be seeing it in Dylan as well.
Update is out.
