Fire combos absolutely melt fiends though. I think the most tedious enemy to fight are the destroyers because their shields are so fucking massive.

They also have a giant weak point when they open up to shoot you, and you can just hit around a corner and abuse the third person camera to unload on them while they just shoot the wall.
These patch notes honestly pissed me off. I'm glad they're fixing the obvious problems, but most of the issues are things I can't take advantage of. Improvement of character creation? Fixing the gay romances? Yes, I'd love those things, but I just finished the game within the last 30 minutes only to be super bummed about both Reyes and Gil as gay romances. Do I really have to go back and play 62 hours of sidequests just to get more out of the game? I loved the characters in this game, and I really enjoyed myself. I really can't wait for what was hinted at the end of the game, but I don't want to do another 60+ hour replay just to fix my romances. I hate Gil. I wish I could take it back so bad.
Fiends in multiplayer are so unbelievably unfun.
That's what the Cobra is for. So what's the deal with Liam supposedly being a great crisis responder when he very clearly cracks really easily under stress?
So what's the deal with Liam supposedly being a great crisis responder when he very clearly cracks really easily under stress?
Yeah, shooting the shit out of a Kett corpse and slamming his fist on the table when everyone else are talking calmly don't seem like the actions of a guy who is cool under pressure.
Yeah, shooting the shit out of a Kett corpse and slamming his fist on the table when everyone else are talking calmly don't seem like the actions of a guy who is cool under pressure.
Hah, if you think that's bad wait till you get to his Loyalty Mission.
Hah, if you think that's bad wait till you get to his Loyalty Mission.
I've done it, those two examples are just early enough, and minor enough, that I don't consider them spoilers. Good mission though.
Yeah I loved his mission, but it really made me question what his deal is v:v:v [editline]4th April 2017[/editline] [sp]The Star Wars reference on that mission was on point[/sp]
[sp]Shepard is mentioned in Alec Ryder's memories. The gender choice just determines whether people say he or she.[/sp] [editline]4th April 2017[/editline] FTFY. They're a tank with more health than pretty much anything else and they only have 4 attacks. 2 of which are part of a combo (charge and smash) and one is a dumb instakill. I though it was universally agreed that the instakill attacks in ME3 are bullshit. Why bring them back? Just make them do a lot of damage or something.
The principle isn't bullshit, the implementation is, and so is the fact you can't be an endgame krogan ninja and do the same thing back. Getting campers to clear out is fine. Introducing an attack with no telegraphy in a 30fps animated framework is in a word, Some Ol' Bullshit. Instakills in general are bullshit. I did notice those flying Kett with the shield you have to bust have an instakill attack you can actually survive, if it catches you at full health and with most shields in single-player. No idea how it behaves in MP, but it's probably the most fair instakill of any of them since it telegraphs it beforehand with an obvious AoE you can dash out of and can't kill you if you're in good health.

I'll have to do testing.
Instant kills that revolve around anything but the player taking a nose dive off a really tall object are garbage. Especially when in the online, I can be grabbed by a fiend through a fucking wall because peer-to-peer.

Wave 7, 1 minute until evac, crash to desktop 0 xp 0 credits waste of fucking time :hairpull::hairpull::hairpull::hairpull::hairpull::hairpull::hairpull::hairpull:
https://twitter.com/tibermoon/status/849326672709025793
Good, I've noticed that if I start a New Game+ I have to remove my shit if it's over 50 or I can't pick anything else up until I get AVP started.
I have literally never survived one of those in SP. I'll have to do testing.
I got hit by a total of two during my time playing the game, one of which killed me because I had no shields and was missing some health, the other hit me with full health and shields and I stood with just a tiny little pip of health. Maybe the last skill in Barrier that lets you regenerate all your shields once every 10 seconds if you're about to die is what saved me ? My main character is an Explorer so I put points into pretty much everything giving defenses.

I'm way too reliant on the phase dash to use anything else, really. That shit carried me through the game.

Well, my quest log is almost completely empty. I'm finishing up the last few side missions I have (scanning 16 rocks, scanning 10 plants, finding ships in space, etc), and then I'll be heading off to [sp]Meridian. Or at least, the quest chain that leads to it.[/sp] These little "calm before the storm" moments with your companions near the end of the game are genuinely touching. Drack's [sp]where he talks about how the reason he's still alive and fighting is for Kesh,[/sp] was actually fairly unexpected. I hadn't really given much thought to [sp]one of his arms being covered, and the other not. So, learning that it was a prosthetic was a wait what moment for me.[/sp] I kissed the rock/bird/lady. That was neat. Vetra's romance is so cute, especially if [sp]you read the email with Sid making shitty puns about your relationship.[/sp] I wish that the Kett were explored through a more interesting lens than the Archon, though. He's probably the worst part about this game's writing, so I guess it's a benefit that [sp]he only shows up like 5 times throughout the entire game.[/sp] The [sp]Kett you find who is trying to turn the population against the Archon is a way more interesting character in ONE conversation than the funny "gimmie ur remnent tek" man is throughout the entire game.[/sp] I genuinely think that if this game gets a sequel (which I REALLY hope happens), the Kett could be one of the better antagonistic forces in the series. [editline]5th April 2017[/editline] All my posts look like declassified CIA documents
I miss being able to name my character in multiplayer like you could in ME3. It just added a little more personalization and character to each one.
I miss being able to name my character in multiplayer like you could in ME3. It just added a little more personalization and character to each one.
You can name them with the app. And give them your own biography.
I'd be a lot more stoked with the MP if I could just like have a standard character creation. Choose race, choose sex, choose facial features, choose classes and skills etc etc. Unless there already is a feature like that, cause i legit hate this character card thing. I hated it in For Honor and I hate it here.
You can name them with the app. And give them your own biography.
What app? Ah, I found it, Ill check it out.
This quest to find [sp]the conspiracy related to the Salarian Ark[/sp] is really bizarre, and all the planet hopping it has you do is honestly frustrating.
