Most efficient method of playing the game is by rushing through most zones and grind the most efficient ones. Which are Ledge for Act 1, Chamber of Sins (1) for Act 2, City of Sarn > The Docks in Act 3 and The Aqueducts / Dried Lake in Act 4.
Generally I just load my potion bar up with 3 Quicksilver / 1 Granite / 1 HP and rush through content.
Full clearing zones(Unless it's for Temp. league challenge or something) is inefficient as hell. I did the same on my first playthrough, took me a long time to reach endgame.

There's one global server(There's also a Garena one for Taiwanese players.) You just pick which gateway you want to connect to, so just pick the one which is closest to you to get the lowest ping.
If you play in a group the gateway is based on the party leader, iirc. So if you play from America and you join a party hosted by Europeans you will have a severe latency issue and it makes the game unplayable(Especially if you're on lockstep.)

No idea. He (my friend) got killed four times over the course of a few waves and I got killed twice, once by a desecrate ground spammer (my chaos resistance is -57%, i got that 3% value Vaal implicit on my gloves) and to some variant of Cyclone that spun to won all over me.
Needless to say we're shit.

I'm impressed that they give all the donators an option to redo their character instead of them just tweaking it a bit.
They're going to have to constantly update that map with every major patch they do.
Finally got to beat the final boss of Act 4 in normal. He wasn't that hard. The only time I died was due me being melee and misclicking on him just when he was about to use his instakill move, couldn't walk away fast enough.

They nerfed him in Normal/Cruel since release. Merciless is really only where he will kick your ass.

The lynx enemies have been around since the beginning of Warbands.

Split arrow chain offscreen and getting rekd, 4.8k hp here, with over-capped rez.
But I don't agree with GGG removing it, it's sad.

Normal Malachai was just plain stupid on release, I think I died like 20 times on my first character and I had full resists and a good life pool. I still think they need to make the room bigger.
I died like 30 times minimum as well, but on Cruel a couple of nights ago I died only once to him, the difference was so big that it was actually quite funny
