The Talisman league is a challenge league. Started on Dec 11th with a fresh economy (Everyone has to start a new character), ends on March 4th. I'd recommend to everyone to play on Talisman SC/HC over Standard/Hardcore.

I need more motivation to play HC. Anyone want to make a Talisman HC Merciless Act 4 pact? No quitting after death, re-roll w/e you want til you make it to Act 4 Merciless.

Man, Vaal Fireball is [i]amazing[/i] for clearing Dried Lake on my Fireball build. Two of the Rolling Flames jewel give it insane AoE, if it crits it absolutely destroys everything within 3 screens or so, giving me enough charges to cast it again. It's like a much less insane version of Vaal Spark :v:

Do you still get that xp since it kills mobs off screen? Fuck me, I made a bladefall build on Talisman thinking the league would end soon. Now I have to wait til March to use my daresso and clear mind, at least the build is still pretty damn decent so far.

You always get XP your things [i]you[/i] kill, no matter how far away they are. That includes kills by your totems and traps. Probably minions too but I'm not sure.

I am not complaining about this, but I have spent all night trying to find Sacrifice of Noon fragments to finish off one full set that I already had Dawn, Dusk, and Midnight for. I have so far not found even one Noon fragment, but I've had nine more Midnights drop. I am dropping Midnights faster than I can finish sets! Thirteen total today.

Been having a lot more fun my second time around playing this game. I just got to Merciless and I'm getting my ass handed to me by Act Bosses though. Sometimes the abilities and such get so cluttered that I can't tell what will 1 shot me and where is safe, especially while playing with other players. Any advice?

a tie in to that is that people want a no-trading league with increased currency drops to compensate, so it's more viable to craft your own gear cool idea, but having a league where more shit dropped would be dangerous psychologically; the base game would feel crap with the reduced drop rate, and it could seriously hurt people's perception of the game

started this game a couple weeks ago. super addicted got my 6 link belly in 6 fusings, 2 exalts in 2 days, 5l on my kaoms primacy ez, chanced a kaoms heart in 14 chances and today some 87 ranger died in HC and posted on global to give away all his loot. I replied and got it all omfg a 6S5L lightning coil, crazy 6S5L bow, all his currency and rings/flasks etc this is madness. i think i have spent all my luck for this entire year. least I feel rich now. my m8s im playing with fucking hate me dude

(Although I think Garena does)

But a guy rqing and giving you all his items? Man.

Standard league gets pretty boring so that's no surprise. Better put that phat lewt to good use boy.

On one hand, I kind of don't want the game to be mostly balanced around players who play ~15 hours a day, but on the other there's a less sense of accomplishment if you did balance drop rates around people who play maybe 4-6 hours a day.

The card drop sound always fucking startles me, I hate it.
