So I'm thinking of starting this because all my friends seem to be playing it. Are there any good summoner builds where I don't just sit there like a dork, i.e. a build where I can fight effectively alongside my minions? Specifically what element should I go for?

Can anyone inform me about the currency exchange rates between different in-game currencies? I've not been able to find a reliable source about this.
[url]http://poeex.info/[/url] I wouldn't follow it 100% though, it's not always completely accurate and prices may differ from league to league. Don't try to apply this to Nemesis or Domination, there's a fresh economy and everything still has to stabalize.

But from what I've heard poeex is rather shady, especially since they started supporting the RMT.

I started running a few maps earlier today, is there anyway to turn off the laboratory machine so I can launch a new map? It's a pain entering the map and leaving to destroy another portal.

How did you effectively farm then? :v: Exit the lab, go to a waypoint and Ctrl + click the lab WP then choose "new instance" and you got a clean lab to launch a new map in.

So i rolled a new character today, a duelist. At level 5ish in Fetid pool a unique bow dropped, wow i'm so lucky i said. 5 mins later right outside the Fetid Pool a unique ring dropped. I can't believe i was this lucky with a new character and yesterday i leveled a Marauder to level 20 without seeing a single unique.

Never got any uniques. Maybe Marauders can't get them. Yet on Ranger I got a unique helmet. And guess where? Fetid Pool. Also Vaal Oversoul was more troubling than other bosses.. but again he went down like a bitch while I constantly (thanks to Blood Magic) spammed Heavy Strike and Ground Slam. So far I think this noob-friendly Marauder build is even overpowered. Doing shitton of damage and being indestructible without any effort is not something I'd call balanced.
I started a mara earlier so i could play with my little brother and i got a set of unique gloves from the first boss on coast before lioneye's watch and the same with a scion i made on standard and got a unique iron helm. [editline]30th October 2013[/editline] Lochtonial caress, iron gauntlets.
I loved my GS + HS Mara, he was super strong. Got plenty of uniques as him, too. Sucks that he died to a bunch of fractured crabs in a narrow tunnel on Merc. Hooray for desync! RIP Now I'm currently running a summoner Scion. Don't know if the build I came up with her is endgame-viable, though. We shall see.
Made a minion templar for nemesis league, my god is he tanky, especially coming from a shadow.

If anything i'd just make a new character. Not worth investing in Regret orbs to respec a low-level character.

What's a recommended skill tree build for a Duelist-bow user?

I posted a decent Rain of Arrows build a few pages ago you might want to take a look at that if you're going to remake a new character.
I've never made a claws character despite how bitchin looking they are, does anyone know if there's any tricks to them? How well does taking taking CI and ghost reaver on them work?
I remember trying to make a shadow claw character back in the open beta when I had no idea what I was doing (I still don't think I know what I am doing). It was fun at first, seeing my health just pop up and down while I spammed twirling blades, but I ran into a mana problem and got fucked over in the middle of act 2 on normal difficulty.

I think avoiding crit nodes in favour of damage and speed might be a good idea though, since you'd want health back in a steady stream instead of big but spread out chunks.
I think shadow looks like a really hard character to build. I mean, you get the lowest health pool and end up near the dexterity part of the tree, yet close to the witch. I may come back to it once I've got some more experience, but right now I need to get more familiar with the game.

So the most viable shadow build is with claws? A strange class indeed.
