I can't believe this, my 2 day old LA character is like 80% stronger compared to my Talisman LA character, it's insane how my frenzy dps is at like 45k~ with max frenzy charges, and i'm not even close to amazing gear at the moment, i'm even more survival. (Might have something to do with ultra cheap drillneck + buffed pierce gem) Ascendancy rules.
EQ is comically good for levelling. I have no idea why I would play absolutely any other melee skill when this exists, except MAYBE reave.
I think lab as-is would be fine difficulty wise IF it wasn't tied to ascendancy points. Currently I feel it's just too much to expect from the average player. It takes too long and the penalties for dying are way too harsh.
I like that izaro is hard but the issue is that its STILL hard when you're 10 levels over. I mean I'm sure it's fine for some characters but my character was easily going through act 4 content and malachai but izaro was still hard
well honestly since the lab is an optional area and the rewards are f*cking magnificent, i don't mind the risks being high. They already nerved the hell out of malachai, atleast keep Izaro as is

I don't think Izaro is that bad. Just don't let him carry any buffs over to the next fight.
Once I have a bit of currency on this league I wanna try an ancestral guardian build, hatred and anger linked to generosity, and using some lightning skillgem to proc EE

Merciless Izaro should be a very real challenge. The last two points in your Ascendancy tree are usually a "cherry on top" sort of situation, so I have no problem with that. BUT, Cruel Izaro is definitely a bit overtuned right now. Going into that fight with 4000 life, fortify, 4 endurance charges, max resists, and flasks, and still taking 2000+ hits is a little overboard for cruel. Obviously you want to just not get hit in the first place but there's not a lot of leeway there for when you do take a hit.

Finally got home and updated to play after an emergency trip to the other side of the country. So this is what it feels like to be broke again. My stash looks so lonely.

lab is supposed to be a gateway into act 4 because of the difficulty jump between act 3 and 4, but right now it's content you should be accessing after you get to act 2 of the next difficulty.

So i'm doing CoC and I got the 0.5% base crit per powercharge, and now im crit capped at level 55. For shits and giggles i'm now running Cyclone-CoC-Life Leech-Cold Snap-Discharge. The result? To be fair they made it easier with every single update
so I've pretty much given up on my ice crash character. the idea was pretty solid; use a 50% ele conversion attack + phys to lightning for full ele conversion, using bringer of rain and hierophant's helmet ele pen for a super cheap effective 8-link ice crash feels badass but the 25% less attack speed and no multistrike killed it for me. the wind-up is sooo long, getting stunned is brutal and fast enemies just run out of the aoe before it comes down... now I know how oversoul and voll feel :( not sure what character to play now though, I'm tempted just to play the exact same duel wield cleaver I did last league, but I want to do something that actually uses an ascendency class to good effect

Also his original account got banned for map hacking.
And others have been banned for cheating with item crafting. They were able to exalt items, crash the instance and rollback the result if it wasn't a desired result...
