So im kinda noob. 35 marauder and 25ish scion, i want to make a voltaxicc spark scion. And i read about this leveling built. lifesprig + flame totem and herald of ice/thunder + clarity.
So I was leveling with pure my totem, because I have like 50 mana after reserving. I took about 2 HOURS before I realized my mana regen due to clarity enables me to spam the living shit out of spark...
I feel dumb. Also this game is very nice to play. Has a lot of depth but I can also play some random noob build without running into a wall at level 10.

Huh. Another melee totem skill that no one will use. Woo.
people use protector... it's decent
the only reason ancestral protector is underused is a) people are pretty link starved as it is and b) the meta melee skill (eq) doesn't scale super well with attack speed. additionally its coverage was a bit too poor without wearing a disfavour and using melee splash to warrant a full totem build. if this thing has decent damage scaling (not sure what weapon they were using but that 5l damage didnt look terribly impressive) i could see it taking a similar place as swt
