Necromancer was my favorite character in Diablo 2 and so in PoE I kinda overplayed necromancers, which is why I had a long break. But I think I'll enjoy getting back to letting minions to all my work for me :v:

Made a T14 Consevatory map run of my build a while back, should showcase classic summoner strength pretty well. I've played Classic summoner every patch and league ever since they removed Snapshotting in 1.2(?) and Classic Summoners have never been as strong as they are now, imo.

Is it worth it to go "all in" on Spectres, and get GMP and faster casting/faster attacks and then use the flame ribbons, revenants from BotB or chaos alchemists from the sewer? I loved using those, but AFAIK they've been nerfed somewhat and I dunno if I should spec fully to spectres while focusing less on zombies and skeletons; or if I should just play it safer and go full zombie focus with spectres as support units?

Spectres all the way. Flame Sentinels are the best at the moment, and the Fireball buff will make them even stronger. My Spectre setup is Raise Spectre - GMP - Ele Focus - Fire Pen - Spell Echo, I use Zombies mostly as meatshields and an Animate Guardian with Leercast/Dying Breath. My LL build is running 7 auras(Haste, Discipline, Purity of Elements and Grace with Hatred, Anger, Wrath linked with Generosity) which makes them solid for single target. But Spectres is where the real damage is at and your clear speed will suffer greatly if you focus mostly on Zombies.
You could always go SRS, but personally I don't like SRS and it doesn't feel as satisfying as having an undead army killing everything.

Oh yeah, Commander of Darkness is probably the most important passive node for any classical Summoner. Commander of Darkness is categorized as an aura, so aura effectiveness boosts the effectiveness of it, meaning that the 10% Increased Damage / 5% Attack / Cast Speed is boosted by aura nodes and generosity..

This morning, I downloaded the torrent file (plenty of seeders around already), during the offline/patch I replaced the old content.ggpk, took another 12 seconds to download the 658mb (patch difference), the whole thing of updating took 2 minutes.
Atlas is out!

I'm always using the ascendancy weapon effect that I forgot that the challenger weapon effect looks amazing, especially with the hydra helmet + divine sign MTX. (Those awesome lines that get drawn from the eyes with divine sign!!)

The Challenger weapon effect is my favourite weapon effect in the game. I love how it looks on my Standard main character, works very well with Demigod items. Kind of wish I went for Perandus weapon effect, but hindsight is 20/20.

I played Prophecy, and played with some chacs after the league ended to test some things.

Actually it seems like its alright now for some reason, must have been something with the server issues from before.

The best part about these boxes, no stupid filler MTX such as Darkness Fireworks in the last one. They replaced Fireworks with 5x Skin xfer which imo is a great choice. You're always going to get your 25pts worth even if you get Skin xfer.
It's not going to feel as shitty buying these compared to the darkness ones.
