Wow, the generosity of strangers in this game. I have a thread on the forum where I sell some items and one thing I offer is very cheap gems(3 Chromatic Orbs each) Some guy buys a Spell Totem gem from me, even though I asked for 3 Chromatics he insisted in giving me 6 Chaos Orbs for it. Just baffling, really made my day.
There are also very little scammers, which amazed me too. I was trading with something and my own stupidity accidentally accepted a trade where I still had to get 4 exalted orbs from a complete stranger, I said I wasn't paying attention and that he still had to give me 4 exalted orbs. He already got what he wanted to buy, but he still gave me those 4 exalted orbs.
I love this game, been going excellent so far went into act 2 np, but... arachnophobia D:
Guys I'm confused, I took the mind drinker passive, Does it work with spectral throw or not? Because I feel like I'm getting no mana at all
It gives you 2 mana for each hit (if I remember correctly and unless it changed), don't expect it to solve all your mana problems. It definitively did not for my earlier shadow build.
Guys I'm confused, I took the mind drinker passive, Does it work with spectral throw or not? Because I feel like I'm getting no mana at all
It's 2% Physical Damage dealt leeched back as mana, I assume you're not very high level yet, so if you have 100 DPS you'll get 2 mana back over the course of like 2 seconds, so it's not really noticable early game.
You're better off putting the three points in for +25 mana per kill into those nodes right beside it early on.
I just started playing today, and I just was wondering something: I'm playing as a Duelist (I think that's the name), and I've just been putting all of my Passive points into the dexterity line, should I start putting some into the strength, or does it not really matter?

Flashcat, since you know a lot about Ranger building, what do you think about this build? Are there any improvements I can do?
Recently got into this, using bows only on a dex build is getting increasingly difficult. Also can someone add me to FP guild? IGN lesoxe
Guys I'm confused, I took the mind drinker passive, Does it work with spectral throw or not? Because I feel like I'm getting no mana at all
You should link Spectral Throw to a Blood Magic gem. Solves all your mana problem, when you get 60+ 10 or 11 hp for a Spectral Throw is nothing when you have 4K+ HP.

He's also making a fairly tanky ranger build (like mine) with a good amount of HP, I don't get why he doesn't take advantage of that and combine it with Blood Magic since you'll have a big enough health pool to sustain the continuous skill casting. The only time he encourages people to go Blood Magic is when they have a 6 Link and can put Blood Magic as a support gem, but I'm afraid new players won't get their hands on a 6 Link anytime soon unless they're extremely lucky. Oh, and I think it's really weird he doesn't get a single Frenzy node in the tree even though they're only a couple points away from his path.

I can see he's trying to go for a bit more damage, but he's giving up on a lot of handy keystones like Unwavering Stance, Blood Magic and Iron Grip (which actually makes up for the few damage nodes in my build).

So maybe you can do some corrections to the tree or is there something else I should not do as it's written in build info? Personally I like Blood Magic, on Marauder it lets me spam abilities constantly. Would be cool to use it with RoA Ranger, RoA is quite powerful stuff.

Good uniques to get: Lioneye's Glare (probably your main goal of getting), Alpha's Howl / Starkonja's Head [editline]3rd November 2013[/editline] If you get your hands on a Lioneye's Glare, you can drop Resolute Technique from your skilltree since Lioneye's has that ability built in as a mod.
Got it. Thank you very much. I might even reroll on Nemesis.
I was looking to buy a 5L Chest, but people are asking for 4-5 Exalts for one thats not even half as good as my current chest. I am curious is it worth trying to fuse 5 Links on my current chest? Only thing I don't like about it is Evasion Rating but I have Iron Reflexes so it's converted in to armour. It also has tri-resists, good hp and good armour/evasion bonus. Here are the full stats:
Rarity: Rare Horror Shroud Full Wyrmscale -------- Armour: 382 (augmented) Evasion Rating: 382 (augmented) -------- Requirements: Level: 57 Str: 68 Dex: 68 -------- Sockets: R R-G-B G -------- Itemlevel: 72 -------- 111% increased Armour and Evasion +96 to maximum Life +17% to Fire Resistance +29% to Cold Resistance +31% to Lightning Resistance
Update: Decided to go for fusing it, hopefully I don't have to spend more then 3-4 Exalts to fuse it.
I found a portal gem. This is the best thing ever.

You might get lucky and get it, or you might even lose any links that you have. But it's natural to pay a fair amount of exalts for even mid-end 5l and 6l stuff, I've seen crazy amounts being dumped into some of them. And mirroring. don't forget mirroring charges. I used to offer stuff for mirroring in the way back when, it made mad bank when people could fork over for it.

Yikes; it requires high STR, but if you are strong enough to wield it, it makes you stronger. Interesting...
Is that in standard? i could use them for my shadow
I have a ton of shit I was keeping personally. Add Roukster/Saberth and I'll let you know what I have. This room next to me looked like so much fun that I went trough the entire dungeon to stay the furthest away as possible from it. [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/721993905060347948/31011F25E60B1C2BDF349923941EBF222FB11B19/[/t]
Alright, after playing Spectral Throw Scion for about a week now I've seen some of the weakpoints in my old build so I decided to create a new, very tanky 1h Spectral Throw Templar. The build is a life based build and has 248% Increased maximum life and also has 5.1% Life regeneration per second. This build is also based around using a one handed weapon along with a shield, so don't try dual wielding this build. I would like to know what people think of my build. I'm planning to use it for my first Nemesis Character that I will start playing on Today/Tomorrow, so I will let everyone know if it works like intended. This is the 89 Point version, which requires level 71 assuming you always sided with a bandit. My bandit plan is Oak(+40 Life) Oak(+18% Physical Damage) Oak(1 Endurance Charge) Passive Tree
