Sadly I'll never have the currency to get The Taming (I don't wanna grind the game that much), it seems like it'd be a very strong item for the build.

alch white maps and run them for currency, doing full clears as far as possible.
I mean I looked at poetrade.com and in standard, The Taming is 10 exalts at minimum, and nobody is selling one on The Breach league yet, so I assume the first person to do so is probably gonna ask for 40 exalts.
I love playing Tetris with my inventory.
Holding 10 Chaos orbs is already a lot to me, so don't even get me started on exalts :v:

I don't know, weren't The Taming pretty affoardable in previous leagues? Yeah, they might be 10 Ex in standard. But the standard economy is also overly inflated, it's a dumpbucket league where anything that isn't 6L or legacy is worth nothing.
you can get the div card for it for 3ex and it's a set of 3 so it can't be more than 10ex. but perhaps you could grind the maps where it drops?

Finally unlocked the Breach portals from completing 24 challenges in the new Breach league. And I'm surprised how high quality they are. They look better than many supporter pack portals that costs hundreds of dollars. I know GGG said they're experimenting about giving out higher quality MTX rewards this league, but I hope they keep it up. Essence wings last league were pretty bad, and many people disliked the portal(Though, I love the Essence portal)
It's also probably fun to troll groups with it. Run ahead of the group, throw down a portal and watch hilarity ensue when people are trying to activate the breach. :v:

Clearspeed is king, remember currency drop rates dont exactly alter at level 68 and up, hell even 66-68 areas are good enough for farming currency if you manage to scrape together some item quantity and rarity too for lots of rare drops for the chaos recipe. Alch all your white maps, you will have enough alchs for that if you just farm and sell the random drops from docks/fellshrine to vendors for alch shards. Trade in alts for fusings at the vendors, and do the Vorici exchange as often as you can manage it. Fusings sell very well in bulk especially early on in a league. Labyrinth farming (or Uber Lab farming) is also a viable option.
Thanks for the tips, I'm mostly used to just playing until mid-Cruel and then trying another build, playing that until mid-cruel and then try a third build and then get tired and wait for the next league.. But this time while I'm already in the mid-cruel phase, I still feel like my build is more fun than it was ever before, so I'll try to reach endgame levels with it.

I think most people around here would agree that endgame, around level 70 to 80 and above, is the most fun part of the entire game. That's when the game really opens up and becomes much deeper, especially when it comes to things such as itemization, uber labyrinth, boss farming etc. It's also usually the point where a build "comes together" with the help of the final passive points and endgame items and finally start feeling good. There's also a ton of enjoyable side content if you don't just want to farm maps for days. Such as boss farming, Atziri, Shaper, T16 Guardians and the new Breachlords etc. and also things like the endgame or "uber" labyrinth.
I would really encourage you to try to hit Act 4 Merciless, that's when the game becomes almost infinitely more enjoyable. Cruel can be a real chore, especially when leveling multiple characters, but just try to push through it.
achieved my goal for the league and got Tukohama's Fortress last night, goes nicely with the totem pets

People tell me that alching my white maps are a bad idea
People tell me that alching my white maps are a bad idea
very few people actually buy alchs or accept them in trade except at the lowest of tiers or in bulk at a discount
you might as well use them for the sake of getting gain
People tell me that alching my white maps are a bad idea
There's no way alching white maps isn't worth it if you can run them. You'll always make an alch back, especially with breaches.
People tell me that alching my white maps are a bad idea
Always alch your highest tier maps, no matter if they're white tier, yellow tier or red tier. Once you build a yellow map pool you should stop alching your white maps though.

Has anyone else noticed how much easier it is making currency in Breach compared to back in Essence league? Now that amazing rares aren't raining from the sky anymore. I've sold rare items that would have been almost worthless last league for 5-20c.
This feels like a cruel joke when I'm trying to get barrage projectiles.

How good are my chances of rolling a Shavronne's Wrappings using chance orbs on occultist's vestment?

50%, it either happens or it doesn't
[editline]12th December 2016[/editline]
In all seriousness, the chance of getting shavs is really, really low

It used to be 1/500 to chance a unique, regardless of base. But they have changed it where it's now weighted differently. Chancing a T1 unique is significantly rarer than chancing a T2 unique etc. That's why a ton of people get several Wurm's Molts before they get a Headhunter.
Chancing a Shavronne's Wrappings specifically is probably one in several thousand, maybe even rarer than that. We don't really have any known numbers, but you shouldn't base a build or your playstyle around chancing a specific unique.

True that but playing low life build is fun. I've been playing Solaris Lorica instead and I am doing fine doing lower tier maps.

After seeing the video of Etup getting a Kaom's Heart from The Void and remembering Flashcat's luck last league. I decided to try my luck, bought the card for 7c since I needed it for the Divination card challenge anyway.
I know I'm the last guy to complain but fuck you :v:
I always make my own builds, currently been trying critical blade flurry gladiator.
I ran into a problem - focusing on too many things makes me not as effective as extreme specialization like all ES or 250% life resolute tech builds.
I focus lots of points between accuracy, crit, block chance, and life, and as a result it wears me pretty thin.
I know for starters I should've probably played shadow instead, but I wanted to do something weird.
How do you guys usually plan your builds to have enough life while maintaining accuracy and crit?

Got a guildmate to upgrade my reverb wand since I'm only on cruel and the prophecy needed you to kill piety on merciless, I didn't realize he was a melee character and he didn't realize he needed to have it equipped, it was a fun 10 minutes of his golem punting piety around :v:
I wish they would implement the ability to play from any starting location as any character model, like they said they would. I like playing as the scion character but ascendant is terrible.

An easy way to do this would just be letting us hook into another starting location later on and then removing the link to your old on, keeping your old model or something.
