Those are the 1.0.1c Patch notes which was already deployed several days ago. There are no notes yet for the 1.0.2 patch planned for this week.
Ah right my bad, haha.

Man.. Playing the market in this game is so much fun, made about 8 Exalts today so far in just a few hours. Going to have my Shavronnes in no time!
Alright, in Act 3 after you save the girl and find out her friend is dead, are there ANY enemies that don't resist elemental? Kind of getting on my nerves since they butcher my minions then rape me because I'm like 100% elemental damage and can't do much damage on them. Piety was a super-bitch because she one-shotted me and my minions and took barely any damage from anything I did.

You could also go for Elemental Weakness, but at least one of those 4 is recommended if you're purely elemental damage. Other than that you link stuff like Fire / Cold / Lightning penetration to your skill. Whenever I level a caster I level with Freezing Pulse and slap Added Lightning or Added Cold damage // LMP // Faster Casting on it and take Frostbite as my curse and I'm set, it levels fast and easy.

It's around act 3 which the game becomes increasingly harder, and it's more obvious for people with bad builds. Also what level did you do Piety at? Most people like to farm Docks until level 34-38 and then clean up the rest of Act 3, I would suggest that. Makes it faster as you can skip ton of zones and just focus on waypoints, and Docks is generally the best place to farm in normal. Also if your tankiness is a problem, try invest in some better gear and make sure you max your resists(Will make content much easier) When I was leveling my Explosive Arrow Scion, I linked my Explosive Arrow with Fire Penetration and I also used the Flammability curse. It didn't matter if the enemey resisted fire or not, they would die just as fast as if they didn't. Try doing something similair with your element.

That's so overleveled, I kill Dominus at lv 33 on Nemesis with just mediocre self-found gear. Maybe if you're a new player you could farm to level 35, but 38 is just a waste of time since you'll be getting close to no EXP in the remaining zones.

Sure, if you want to challenge yourself you can do Dominus/Piety at a much earlier level. I just don't see the point in going in to the next difficulty level under leveled, there's no point in it. Especially since Docks is best place to Farm until Act 2 Cruel(Ledge is a joke imo)
The only challenge is Dominus really, I killed Piety at level 32 on both my Spectral Throw Marauder and EK Scion with ease. I can understand grinding docks in Cruel & Merciless but you don't really have to grind exp in Normal unless you're in a race.

If you bypass most of the zones and only kill huge monster packs and Blues quickly with aoe, you're done with Act 1 Cruel in under 30 minutes(Helps if you have a friend to give you waypoints) I know that you don't really have to farm anywhere in this game until end-game, but this is what I have found optimal for me and the builds I generally run. I've done all quests on all difficulty levels several times, and at this point I just want my new characters to reach Merciless as soon as possible to have some fun in maps.
3D Art for an upcoming monster [editline]11th November 2013[/editline] I can already smell the Chaos Damage :v:
new 2D art [t]http://i.imgur.com/nGkXOdo.png[/t] I hope it's a Ruler of Wraeclast mob, maybe even act 4 content.
if they added an act 4, how would that sit with current difficulties?
if they added an act 4, how would that sit with current difficulties?
They'll probably adjust zone levels and/or EXP gain. Same like they did when they added Act 3.x with the Dominus stuff.

I did get her eventually, just lots of dodging and skeleton-spamming. It helped that she ran away after half health though. :v:

There's nothing wrong with swapping out, for example, a Cold Resist ring for a Lightning Resist just to kill a boss and put the Cold Resist ring back afterwards.

My armor may have some resistances. Can't check right now.
I'm terrible at this game and I don't think I have any resistance to anything. My armor may have some resistances. Can't check right now.
Crematorium Piety deals lightning damage, so you'll want lightning resistance. Armour only midigates the damage you take from physical damage. Most of the attacks are pretty obvious what type of damage they are though. Rings are a great way to increase certain elemental resists. A Topaz ring gives you 20-30% lightning resist as base value, so that's a great choice of item to deal with Piety.
I want to try storm calling with remote mines, also, do elemental damage passives affect fire and lightning traps?
I want to try storm calling with remote mines, also, do elemental damage passives affect fire and lightning traps?
Yes, but for fire trap it only increase the detonation damage afaik, the burning damage is considered a DoT which doesn't increase with % Fire Damage, there are nodes in the tree to increase your burning damage though.
So I feel like I must be doing something wrong. I just got to act 3 in cruel. I'm over leveled, have appropriate gear for my level, have a decent build... But I seem to do no damage and die instantly, pointlessly and unavoidably to everything, be it white mobs or bosses. Did I miss something or did the game become unfun immediately upon arrival at the act 2 boss in the second difficulty? *edit* Walk into an area, get hit once, teleport to an area I never walked to due to latency, get stun locked and die. Phenomenal.

Try working on getting 75 in all Elemental Resistances or atleast high 50's at the minimum. At this point in the game, you're most likely going to have to try to buy some gear from people in trade chat or on the forums. I hit a huge brick wall my first time in late Act 3 Cruel / Early Merciless Act 1, so I picked up a few gear pieces with Life and Resistances and it became easymode again. Try focus on getting Resist/Life on your gear. Gear with 3 Good Resist and Life is pretty pricey but a chest with 2 25+ Resists and 50-70+ Life shouldn't be more then a few Chaos Orbs. If you happen to play on Normal I got some leveling gear I don't use you could get.
last time i played was closed beta, getting back and thinking of playing scion instead of ranger has anything major changed, have they overhauled fucking everything and i want myself in the guild IGN is Datsurge.

The character is on domination, sadly. Anyone have a Death's Harp on domination they'd be willing to part with?
What's your name, slutface.
If you mean me, I'm flattered. Character name is Bayekshek.
