Just started playing this as Ranger, no problems so far since I played Diablo and Torchlight a lot. Was a bit confused about flasks, ability gems and HUGE skill tree, but it's not much of a problem.
Would be cool if I wouldn't have to play through this game alone, so I'd like an invitation to the guild. IGN is FiaClio.

Also I'm playing right now, wouldn't mind some company of level 2's.

I hate how you can't see a characters League in the Guild tab, I hope they change it so it acts the same as a the Friends tab, where you can see the League banners.

Anyone knows some good builds for two-handed weapons?

for two handed i would suggest a singletarget attack (like heavy strike, or glacial hammer) + melee splash support gem so that it will do aoe damage

as for the build itself, depends. try to figure out if you want to buff your physical or elemental damage and base the build from that.

and for new players, your characters might totally wipe normal mode without investing points into survivability, but remember that once you reach the other difficulties you will die. so please remember to invest points into life/energy shield/armor/whatever, as well as resistance if you can.

Good christ, they sure nerfed Anger bad, 60% of the mana pool is used instead of like 30, it's almost unusable with an Outlander

The new skill Spectral Throw is really fun to use, and strong with a 2H weapon too, since a 2 handed weapon has a bigger model, you have a bigger attack hitbox.

It's very similar to the current tree, but it's not the same. Seems like it was leaked from a private build or something.

I remember when I was playing with a friend of mine in hardcore, I was new to PoE but I dropped an exalted, chaos orb and then not even a minute later an unique, then later I again dropped something rare and my friend was completely dumbstruck who plays 24/7 and never gets this lucky.
Think this was before the divine orb or whatever it's called that's super valuable.

Also I was thinking of mainly using the Guild Stash to store gear we have used to level up. So instead of selling it when you find a better item simply store it in the Guild stash to help out other (newer) players to advance through the game. They can choose to take some items if they want to, but they don't have to.
When someone takes an item and finds a better one after a while they can just put it back in the stash.

I just started playing this, on the middle difficulty(with shrines etc) with a marudar class.
Very fun, I have turned into quite the tank and I love that I was in a nice party that had a witch and an ranger, I basically tanked most of them and just spat out fire traps and cleave attacks.

Says the Character doesn't exist. Make sure you provide me with an ingame character name, and not the name of your actual account.

I used up all my luck in one pack of mobs. Two pairs of gloves. One unique with stats that fit my class perfectly(Ele Resists, Evasion bonus) and another pair with Mana leech.
