Path of Exile V2 - Games - Facepunch Forum

Good IIR / IIQ items are retardedly expensive, a normal ES Hubris Helmet with decent stats sells for like 5 exalts, if you throw some Item Quantity / Rarity on it, it shoots up to 30-40 exalts, even 100+ for perfect rolls. On the bright side, I rolled this in around 100 alts and I can sell it for like 2 exalts :v: [IMG]http://puu.sh/79vM0.png[/IMG] Might make this a crafting project where I try to get max rarity roll aswell

Even the regular items. Why? Pretty sure most of them didn't even had quality.

I don't play much anymore, log on once a week or so just to make sure I didn't get hacked or something. I don't really know what I want to do in the game anymore.

The challenge leagues ended a couple of days ago so people are probably waiting for the new ones to start on March 5. First major patch is also happening on March 5 so that should get more back aswell I'd assume.

Usually people don't level Clarity up all the way, they leave it between lv 3 - 10 to have a much more beneficial mana cost. I also run a lv 1 Incinerate on my culling totems, else it would cost waaaay to much mana to cast my totems.

Is that the currency in this game?[/QUOTE] Since there is no use for gold coins in wraeclast, both npcs and players use special consumable items as currency, from the most common Scrolls of Wisdom (identification scrolls) to more rare consumables like the Exalted orbs (Enchants a rare item with a new random property). You can find a list with all of them in the first post. And yes, they game is very much worth playing, specially with the upcoming mini-expansion. (It's arriving in 8-7 days)

Hey guys, finally got some spare time on my hands and decided to get into PoE. I got a lot of noob questions but lets start with these two :) 1. I'm on a ranger and I like Poison Arrow because it is area of effect and dot. [img]http://s1.directupload.net/images/140226/6nn7oy3w.jpg[/img] Within the red box is what my basic bow attack would deal so I guess everything else on top is thanks to Poison Arrow. Now I see this skill relies on chaos damage pretty much so I guess going for Corruption early is a good idea? I'm currently that far in the passive skill tree: [URL=http://www.directupload.net/file/d/3545/4f3imhcj_jpg.htm][IMG]http://s7.directupload.net/images/140226/temp/4f3imhcj.jpg[/IMG][/URL] 2. My inventory is full. All the time. I don't find enough scroll of identification to identify half the stuff that drops. Is that a common problem? Should I not pick up blue items at all? Or pick them up and sell unidentified?[/QUOTE] If you just started playing I'd pick up some blues and just sell them, but later on you'll want to keep inventory space for potential good drops and picking up blues will just be a waste of time.

you might as well pick them up if you have space, just drop them if you need room for something better and don't be afraid to use a portal scroll to go back and sell shit if you've got a lot of good stuff

Also: (usually) Big items sells exactly as much as small items of the same rarity. Don't fill your invetory with 5x2 items when you could just pick a lot of 1x1 (rings, amulets), 2x1 (potions and belts), 2x2 items (most armor items and some weps).

Does anybody knows a cheap and easy build for starting in the next leagues? most of the guides are incredibly expensive, or requires a 6L or several top tier uniques. I was thinking about a dual flame totem templar, with just 4 slots it hits very hard, and a Searing touch is not really expensive

Path of Exile is seriously one of the best f2p games out there. I was in since CB and been hopelessly hooked ever since.
