Only like 3 hours till patch \o/ The new skill tree kinda screwed up my planned build so I'm kinda clueless now what to roll in Invasion.
I would like to utilise Arctic armor, some sort of projectile spell with possible iron will boost (thinking FP or incinerate), maybe block nodes with tempest shield, and if possible a sustainable RF as a non plus ultra. I'ts kinda hard to achieve, if not impossible. A scion could do it but she would not have enought strenght for an iron will, so one have to go spell damage. The marauder is kinda far from EB. A templar might do the trick.
Also I got a free Rise of the Phoenix shield on standard so I might try to fiddle with a scion first.

Awesome, Kripp is pretty enjoyable to watch when he plays PoE. Hearthstone is nice and all but its more so him just talking to chat.
In regards to 1.1.0's tree. From what I can tell, they nerfed Vaal Pact, Life Nodes, and Buffed Spell Damage? Or are there other things im missing.

He has already played Path of Exile to death. His channel thrives a lot better in Hearthstone.

Ah the cookie cutter EB+AA+MOM EK scion....had great fun with it but I got bored around lvl 65. I'll start experimenting with with a different spell like FP or incinerate. Damn theory crafting is hard.

ES got buffed by a tad, Scion life wheel got a heavy hit, but it now allows to pass through quicker.
Marauder tree got buffed really hard, combined life / armor nodes, Diamond skin now gives +1% max all resist.
Elemental nodes got buffed by a ton, thus the Witch tree actually being pretty good now (the cast speed got buffed from 3% nodes to 4% nodes too), and the Shadow tree has some sick elemental nodes now.
Vaal Pact didn't essentially receive a nerf, it's more a nerf to CI characters using Vaal Pact. With this change, it seems like a good choice for life based characters too.
I'm so goddamn happy, I was planning on rolling a marauder anyway, but he got buffed so good. I have a question though, do you guys think it's worth it to grab the node past blood magic and some other aura based nodes and run one or two auras? I think it could be useful but that reserve is brutal when applied to health.

So Invasion is hard as fuck but I found an early Vaal dungeon and got Vaal Spectral Throw, I know what my next character is going to be using!
I really underestimated the power of those invading Unique mobs in the Invasion League. This is really hard.
That unique crab that uses frost wall, he will use Vaal Detonate dead when really low HP. Saw a couple of people dying to it.
oh god my sides, someone used a Vaal Orb on a Tabula Rasa and got the mod "Has no sockets"

Ive made quite some money, my Maligaro's are legacy now(I bought them like 4 days ago, not knowing they were going legacy) I did 2 Vaal Pyramid Maps, dropping a shit ton of Vaal Gems. Ive made good money today.

Vaal gems are really underpowered, you need to farm up 64 kills to use the spells once and even then they aren't that strong
Also I found a corrupted area first in the Den, and then 5 minutes later in the area above the den, it was pretty funny to find two of them so near each other
