Also is there any news on the new 3 month leagues?
I'm always excited for the new leagues, but then I also realize you gotta start over with an empty stash again, meanwhile my standard & hardcore stash are getting piled up from all the previous leagues merging :v:
I browsed through my stash on Standard earlier and I found 15 Ex in lvl 20 gems I didn't even know I had :v:
I totally forgot about the 80~ pure Ex I still had in Standard :v:
Here's the first teaser for this expansion: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/980839
We've prepared a teaser screenshot of some of the content in August's expansion. We've purposefully left it vague and aren't explaining what's shown in the shot, but plenty of details will be released in six days! It's really interesting seeing your speculation and theories.
That guy in the shot looks a lot like the one on the left of the new website skin, doesn't he?

Just got my first valuable(1 Exalt or more) Unique item in over 600 hours of PoE.
Astramentis on my fresh level 46 Shadow at Docks on Cruel difficulty...
Oh I completly forgot to post about this earlier: The supporter packs will be pulled out of the store Very soon (July 28). If any of you was planning on getting one, you better do it now. (I wish I had enough spare cash to get one..) https://www.pathofexile.com/purchase
Is there any news on new supporter packs?
The supporter packs are still going? I remember being told that they were going to be pulled in March.
I'd recommend you guys to check out State of Exile podcast if you have not already, ZiggyD is the new host and he recently uploaded the latest episode to his channel.

New missions, guilds, crafting workbenchs, your own hideout, the new leagues Rampage & Beyond and more.
Also another thing I didn't post earlier: the expansion will also update the game's UI.

They sell comics based on the story of the game?
I can feel my wallet loosening.
expansion looks amazing, can't wait to see what the leagues are
So I played this with friends awhile ago, but never really got into it because it seemed super complicated to what I'm used to playing (Torchlight) but I kind of want to give it a second chance. Any advice on what's changed since I played? I started playing quite a bit before Vaal came out and quit before that.

I started playing the game and I came from Torchlight too, it gets some getting used to and when you find a build/skill combo you enjoy the game becomes alot better. In comparison, I have 145 hours in PoE but only 58 in TL2.
Did someone say Teasers?
..no? Well, I'm posting them anyways. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/987545
Many users have been asking for more information on how the crafting UI works in Forsaken Masters. Today's screenshot shows Vorici's Socket Crafting window. We're still iterating on the phrasing, costs and layout of these options.
One of the new features we're experimenting with in 1.2.0 is Spectator Mode for PvP. This mode allows players to jump into a friend's PvP instance and watch the carnage unfold. Spectators can freely switch viewpoints to anyone's on either team, while remaining invisible and unobtrusive to others. Normally hidden objects, such as traps and mines, are made visible to spectators.

I think it's a great idea. It will shorten the gap between decent items and GG items. It will also allow more people to achieve 6L, and will make them all around cheaper.
So the new supporter packs were released.
I couldn't help myself guys...

Atleast I'm pretty?
We got teaser videos for 4 of the Forsaken Masters:
-Haku, the Armourmaster
-Vorici, the Master Assasin
-Elreon, the Loremaster
-Catarina, the Master of the Dead
And today we got an update that introduced new supporter packs themed after the upcoming update. https://www.pathofexile.com/purchase
This time the packs come with cosmetic armor sets and decorations for your future hideout, some physical goodies at higher ranks, and at the highest tier you'll get be able to get your character to be added as a challenge in the "Hall of Grandmasters" Unique Map.
rampage sounds fun, but wont synergise at all with the explosive arrow char I was planning :(
You have no idea how tempted I am to buy the Grandmaster pack
The only thing I'm not too fond of are those flag back attachments, I can't see myself dropping my wings for that.

I'm tempted to upgrade to the Master pack. $150 to upgrade, I get some sweet armours, a ton of points, player portrait and a piece of concept art signed. Just seems so fucking cool compared to the T-Shirt / Hoodie you got in the other packs. Something that deserves a life time of hanging on my wall in my gaming den.
I'm more intrigued by the immortalizing your character in the Hall of Grandmasters.
I think that's pretty cool and your contribution will be visible to everyone, forever.
also, you could immortalise an OP as shit char and become infamous amongst players :v:
I would immortalize a ridiculously easy and weak character, since from what I've read all the other Grandmasters are going to spend months building their characters for it them to be as OP as they could be.
Two things: New Forsaken master revealed: Vagan, the Weaponmaster:

Is there a way to pull the camera further back?
The high angle with a close camera gives me migraines really quickly.

I don't think you can adjust the camera except for zooming in and out.
I wish there were slots for cosmetics so I didn't have to pull out my cosmetics whenever I swapped equipment.
