Gives you easy access to the Scion life nodes which are almost a must have for any life builds. Also giving your a lot more life earlier in the game. Life based Shadow is kinda meh since 1.2.0 imo.
post your hideouts [t]http://puu.sh/b5azV.png[/t] considering swapping to vagan's, but it's harder to level
[t]http://puu.sh/b5faV/a7e6dd95b9.png[/t] Zana's decorations are expensive as fuck, and she's also pretty rare to come by, only in maps afaik. qq

Templar has that very nice Elemental damage nodes right at the start of the tree and very easy and fast access to the Scion life node wheel helping your boost your life in the early to mid game. Witch has access to the largest ice nodes in the game early on and doesn't need to travel much except for some life. Shadow is in the same boat as Templar but with less life and more elemental damage but doesn't have access to those real convenient aoe nodes. If I was you I'd pick Witch. Good damage scaling passives early game, decent life nodes, some flask nodes. Shadow might be a better choice if you're going crit since he's sandwiched between Witch and some GG crit nodes.
Levelling up an arc witch following ZiggyD's guide on it, up to act 1 cruel and I found three chaos and a reduced mana gem within like and hour as well as a regal orb. Today was good day. My DPS on arc at level 38 was around 625 for ZiggyD's version but at level 47 with KuteKitteh's arc witch I only had 520 DPS, still surprised at how large the difference is between the two.

Does Vagan the weapon master have some ability that heals him that I didn't notice? Ran into him twice and both times I get him low(like 20% or less) in the duel and he just heals back to 80% and then time runs out and I fail mission...

What am I looking at? Are you rolling for unique amulets?
What am I looking at? Are you rolling for unique amulets?
Corrupting Sidhebreath unique amulets in an attempt to get my desired implicit roll, which is +1 to curses on enemies. Allowing me to have 3 curses instead of the standard 1/2. So far I have bricked 21 amulets(Either making them rare or changing nothing) and I have 5 amulets which has had their implicit rolls changed. I've put about an Exalted orb in to rolling these amulets so far and hopefully I get lucky and get it soon, or I could go 500 amulets and still not have it. Corrupting is so random. I got two "succesful" corruptions in my first 5 attempts, nothing for 15 amulets and then I get three succesful corruptions in a row. If anyone here is playing Rampage I'm buying all Sidhebreath amulets for 1 Chaos orb each, I'm also looking to buy Vaal orbs for the ratio of 1.5 to 1 Chaos.
GL with that, pretty sure +1 max curse is one of the rarest corruption mods to roll
GL with that, pretty sure +1 max curse is one of the rarest corruption mods to roll
It is. There's a reason why +1 Curse Sidhebreath goes for multiple Exalts on Standard.
I don't understand why anything in Standard sells for 100+ exalts. I see people asking as much in trade all the time, and it's just fuggin silly.
I don't understand why anything in Standard sells for 100+ exalts. I see people asking as much in trade all the time, and it's just fuggin silly.
Inflation and a ton of exalts lying about from the OB period. Remember any character that dies in a HC league moves to Standard, and anything they had with them is now fair game for chars in standard to sell and trade. And some items, the rarest of the lot (pre-nerf versions of GG uniques like Kaom's) can sell for twice that much at least.
I don't understand why anything in Standard sells for 100+ exalts. I see people asking as much in trade all the time, and it's just fuggin silly.
Some items are legacy, like 1000HP Kaom's Heart and 200+% ES Shavronne's. They're not obtainable anymore so people ask a pretty high price.
Seems pretty toxic to the trading environment to leave those items in the game as they are, then. All they're doing is massively inflating the value of everything else to such a degree that newer players can basically kiss any chance of trading for decent gear out the window.
Prices are much more reasonable on the leagues. Especially when the leagues start out. But the longer the leagues last though the higher the prices tend to creep up. Besides you don't need GG items for any but the most niche of builds.
Ye, if I see that a build requires any specific unique that I don't already have, or gear with specific and rare combinations of mods, I forget about trying it, because I'm not grinding for two hundred hours to afford it. [editline]25th August 2014[/editline] It's really quite a shame, because there are several abilities that look very fun, but cannot be used reliably without fuck-me expensive gear.
There's a reason why default league is derisively called a wastebasket league by some players :v: Default's main purpose is trying out things with tools you've acquired from playing in other leagues now. Though truth be told that was actually its intended purpose.
These miniature rock golem thingies Gneiss summons are friggin cute, it would be cool to obtain one as a pet. Also triple shockwave totems are boss, it's like playing pinball. The clear speed is nice too.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/7fqO2f1.png[/t] 35 Bricked, 14 that has their implicit rolled, 2 GG Rares. 51 Total Sidhebreaths rolled, about 3 Exalts worth of currency used to buy... Still no fucking +1 Curse implicit
im RNGesus should let me roll one for u I 5 linked my friend's carcass jack in 3 fusings last week too :^)
I'll do that once I build up some currency to keep going. It's so frustrating since this is the last item I need for my build. I pretty much got everything else I need. Got two pretty good ones last night. Think they're worth anything? The first one should carry you through into maps until you could afford a proper end-game weapon. What'cha think? What is a fair price to try to sell them for? I'm especially interested in the first one. That's some pretty substantial damage, and it's 5-linked, so I've got high hopes. My only regret on it is that the added cold damage wasn't increased attack speed, or a natural +X-X to Physical Damage roll! [editline]26th August 2014[/editline] I friggen love this crafting expansion, by the way. I can turn "pretty good" items into great ones with little risk! If not to sell, then at least for personal use.

The accuracy will give you a decent boost to close the gap and another 5L is always nice. I'll stick with this Ignomon.
