I died like 1000 times at the end boss on Normal Difficulty, is that normal?
I died like 1000 times at the end boss on Normal Difficulty, is that normal?
If it's your first character and first time fighting him, pretty much.
But both my Zana and Vorici are lv5, yet Zana dailies are area lv70-73 but Vorici missions have all been cruel difficulty so far
Zana you can only discover at end game while Vorici I'm pretty sure you can find in Normal. Having a master that can only be found in end game maps give normal difficulty missions would be odd, while having a master you can find in the first few hours of the game that gives normal difficulty missions would be much more suitable. Same reason why Zana requires so much more xp to level up than the other masters.

I want to do a flicker strike build, already have the blood dance, but I can't decide what weapon I will use. My options are dual knives/foils with either shadow or ranger, because of the dual wield damage and all those crit nodes. Two hander sword duelist Dual wielding swords duelist Unsure if there is any point in using a shield considering I wont be face tanking stuff

i feel like i'm under-geared at level 38 on normal difficulty on piety as scion mace/shield spectral throw.
wow, apparently lv8 Vorici can change the sockets and links of a corrupted item it costs as many vaal orbs as it costs chromatics / jewellers / fusings tho, so to 6L a corrupted item you'd need 1500 fusings + 1500 vaal orbs

So I finally got to maps, and my character fuckin' sucks. I did perfectly fine the entire game, but all of a sudden I am basically worthless. I die three or four times on every boss I've fought. I will never level up at this rate. I'm using the groundslam build. How did I even fuck this up? Or is the end-game just this absurdly hard? [editline]31st August 2014[/editline] Apparently I need something even cheaper and easier than groundslam, and I don't see how that's possible.

Don't worry, the first character I got to maps with also died many times! You'll get some useful drops sooner or later and for some map bosses the fights can be pretty hard and you need to know what attack they're going to do when you see certain animations, which will all come eventually if you keep hanging in there. If you're playing on Standard I wouldn't mind doing some low level maps with you! [editline]31st August 2014[/editline] Could also help you upgrade your gear a bit, I've helped many friends out so why not you too.

My highest chac in Rampage is a groundslammer with a 5L and I do 66~ maps fine. Most important info would be Ele resists, phys reduction and Groundslam dps.
I have 5.1k life, passively regen ~620 per second, life leech, have capped resistances (except cold, I'm about 15 short on cold), and do about 4k DPS to groups, and 6k single target. I have nothing but found gear, but I did get lucky and got a Belly of the Beast drop that I'm using for my armor. I can't afford to buy any gear. I'm level 70. I am using Groundslam as my main ability. Groundslam - Life Leech - Melee Physical - Faster Attacks - Multistrike Also using Leap Slam for mobility, and Heavy Strike for single target. I can slowly churn my way through most mobs with no real issue, but bosses that do huge spikes of damage (IE- pretty much all of them) completely break my life leach and regen, and kill me extremely quickly.

Such as enduring cry or links with cwdt+immortal call+ enduring cry? My marauder groundslammer is 68~ and has a dps of 9k on my groundslam, 14k on molten strike, also only having about 3.3k hp. Looks like the only problem you have right now seems to be your current weapon. Also, for me, I avoided putting Life Leech on my link using the lifegain/leech circle to the north-west of marauder start, and instead have added fire. Also running herald of ash + hatred. Also make sure you have a instant flask and a granite flask, hella useful. It could also be the case that you are face tanking the boss/enemy without needing to, sometimes you actually need to run around/position yourself.
Yeah, I currently have 6 that are almost always up.
Yeah, I currently have 6 that are almost always up.
And you still seem to be getting chunked by bosses? Thats kinda weird, maybe needing a dps increase so you leech more could help.
I can't imagine getting molested by map bosses with 5k life and 6 endurace charges up Try enfeebling them if they're really that big of an issue, some map bosses are still extremely strong like the Jungle Valley and Torture Chamber ones. What's your IGN, when I get on later today I'll see what I can do to help you out, if you're in standard that is

They vary in difficulty a lot. Brutus in the Dungeon map has always given me problem, his smash is very brutal especially when he's scaled to level 66. You can easily run maps and just avoid bosses, dying is going to slow your leveling progress to a crawl so try avoiding that. When you have better gear and a bit higher level you can start killing those bosses that gave you a hard time earlier.
What do those 'b' and 'Y' letters in the top right corner mean?
What do those 'b' and 'Y' letters in the top right corner mean?
those indicate the support gems affixed to your main skill.

I am the only one who find these minigun like creeps a very retarded idea?
I am the only one who find these minigun like creeps a very retarded idea?
You mean the tentacle abominations? Nah, they are good ideas, they are just a tad too unforgiving in large groups.
You mean the tentacle abominations? Nah, they are good ideas, they are just a tad too unforgiving in large groups.
No, first time i met those type of creeps at the last level on Normal Diff, now i see them everywhere on Cruel.
My character name is BigZazubi, and I'm playing on Standard! I'm sure I'll be on later tonight, so hopefully I see you around.
I am the only one who find these minigun like creeps a very retarded idea?
tittybitches or cuntdogs?
i feel like i'm under-geared at level 38 on normal difficulty on piety as scion mace/shield spectral throw.
i've fixed this problem by going full-idiot and using a 2h axe paired with 2 pots with 50% instant recovery and am now in cruel act 1.
Flashcat is a beautiful Saint. I am now running introductory maps with very few hiccups. Thanks!
