The only expensive thing I would really love to have is a Pledge of Hands. I think that would be the best in slot for this. With that, I could swap out Spell Echo for a Life Leech and that would take care of my survivability perfectly. Damage would skyrocket, too. A 5L should leave me with ~25-30k damage per cast (if my math ain't stupid), high cast speed, and loads of life leech. I would run a Purity of Fire gem to help protect against reflect.
Other than that, I think good rares would do the trick, and I've got plenty of those.
Man, how rare is Zana? I've done [I]quite a few[/I] maps now and I've never seen her.

Map drops are so fucking stupid. If you aren't lucky enough to get a good roll on a high level cartographer box, you basically can't play. I just ran a 121% onslaught palace map with 49% pack size and didn't even get one single map drop. I haven't gotten a 75+ map drop in days and now my pool is drained, all I have left are 74- (gives like <2% exp at lvl 88) ... I can't believe people actually defend the rarity of the maps (my guess is the people that defend it haven't even reached 87+ anyway).
I'll defend it. You just have to know what items to pick up 78 maps, hell I even make profit from running 78s.
Also there's nothing wrong with spending 30+ chaos on a high level carto, considering a single 78 map is worth 15 chaos.

First you have to find one... which isn't going to happen. They are rare enough that they might as well not exist.
If you want I can try to have you join my map party for 78 maps.
You either bring your own 78 map or pay 2 chaos fee each map. That way you put in a single 78 map but get to play the ones of others too!
If you're having trouble sustaining your map pool this shouldn't give you more worth for your money.
I swear, more people have been buying my stuff since poe.trade updated my character to the one I'm actually playing.

Finally got around to doing the death and taxes map I've had for a month and a half now. The weapon summons are the only things that can damage me... I don't think the bosses damaged me even once lol.
Been leveling up my cold-to-fire witch, and it's going fairly smoothly so far. I haven't actually transitioned damage types yet, but I'm getting ready to! However, I'm not sure if Arctic Breath is going to be the best call, now. For single-target, it's amazing. It hits so much harder than freezing pulse. But against groups, it really chunks. The skill is just awkward, what with it blowing up on floor debris. Even though it one shots most white mobs, bigger groups of them take several casts to chew through because of the low AOE. Freezing pulse hits everything. It seems like a better choice unless I'm taking down a boss, and even then, is it worth swapping out? Dunno yet. Freezing Pulse does mean I'll be able to swap out the concentrated effect gem for something else.

Have you tried ice spear yet? I really like it, especially the sound it makes. The 600% crit chance in second form is also cool. Recommend Gmp+faster casting+spell echo+cold pen+ele prolif and/or increased crit multi.
Nuh uh. Can ice spear with GMP shotgun single targets? I thought that one couldn't, but that would probably be the best choice all around if it can.

I have very low movement speed so they hit me most of the time when I keep walking. Also get stunned and desynced immediately, with my sparks missing at point-blank range.

This has to be the most blatant use of RMT I've ever seen, my map group have been talking about this guy for weeks now and how obvious his cheating is.
Just look at the dagger, 6 tier 1 mods with all of them close to perfect rolls too. There's not even a dagger like that on standard and this guy is able to make one in a months time starting from absolute scratch? You're looking at an item that has at least over a 500 eternal / exalt crafting cost to make, maybe even over a thousand considering how rare some of the top tier rolls are.
