God damn.. What's up with all the people asking for free items? I get occasionally contacted by players on Standard regarding old items I have on there. They're not shit tier, they're pretty good. A mix of items I have accumulated while playing Standard and a variety of other temporary leagues.
Anyway, my message when people contact me about Standard items is usually "I'm currently not trading on Standard as I'm not playing there at the moment." People always take the opportunity to ask, and some times even beg to obtain the items for free. And this isn't something that happens rarely, maybe every couple of PMs I receive winds up to needless begging.
Do you all run in to the same scenarios as me? I've been working on removing/snipping old threads and posts on the forums. But I have hundreds of posts/threads regarding shops/selling specific items.
You could search up your name on poe.trade under standard and slowly go through posts removing the items.
Strangest thing for me is that every time I list a Lioneye's Glare in my shop thread I got tons of PMs asking to buy it, it's weird.
Kinda wish they added an auction house kind of thing, so people don't have to fiddle with 3rd party programs and forum thread reading websites.

They have confirmed that they're working on a trading system. But they don't want it to be 100% automated i.e. Auction House styled trading outpost.
I could live with the current system, but it's rather shady and dodgy having to use all these third-party tools to trade reliably. And without these tools, have fun finding the item(s) you want.

I used ONE ORB OF FUSING, ONE.
I've spent hundreds of jews and never even got a 5s, let alone a 6s, 5l or 5s
never seen a 6l in the flesh, and I think the only 5l I've been in possession of ever is the CoD flashcat made for me :v:
I've seen 6 socket items pop up from time to time in merciless and while mapping. Cool thing about them is that they give you 7 jewelers orbs when you sell them, which you can use to get a higher chance of making an item with 6 slots by yourself. I wouldn't recommend trying to craft a 6-slot item by yourself, though. The most amount of jewelers/fusing orbs I've spent on an item was when I made a fully linked 5-slot soul mantle (which I guess makes it technically have 6 slots because of the inherit spell totem) and that pretty much cleared my inventory out, to the point where I had almost stripped myself of everything from portal scrolls to alteration orbs to make more jewelers orbs.
I wouldn't buy 6 socketed items (Uniques at least), people charge way too much for them. I can usually get 6 sockets fairly easily in under 200 jewellers but then sometimes I've spent over 500 to get a 6s :v:

I don't think using armor scraps is worth it for socketing, you'd go through way too many of them. Very worth it for fusing though.
Doesn't quality on items only reset when you use a fusing anyway? Haven't played much lately so can't remember 100% but I'm fairly sure jewelers don't reset quality.

What level is it best to start alching and chiseling maps?
Depends entirely on your map pool, probably a good idea to chisel up your highest white map. Maybe alch it too but you might get a map you can't run. I wouldn't alch or chisel <72 maps though.
Alright odd request, but could someone help me get the [del]chaos orb and[/del] regal orb recipes? I want the challenge done yet I don't play enough maps.

During the start of a league, when higher level maps are rare. My rule is to Chisel + maybe alch 70+ maps. Obviously I wouldn't really do this past the first 3-4 days.

Scion and templar can easily get both duration nodes, but who the fuck knows if they will remove those nodes or put them somewhere hard to reach.
The option to have 5 masters at once in your hideout would be a nice thing to have once act 4 comes out.

They should make it so level 8 masters don't take up a slot so you don't have to keep dismissing them and bringing others in to do all their dailies.

The only good thing you could get on that would be crit, so no. Plus it's not worth spending an exalt on since it's a slightly higher DPS Doomsower without the bonuses.
