I have discovered a slight flaw in using my tethered phone to provide internet so I can play Path of Exile wherever I can get a signal: getting a phone call disconnects me. It's like my childhood all over again!

It's an unlimited plan, so I don't have to worry about any fees. That and I don't normally use my data for anything anyways, so as long as I can get a stable ~200kbps after throttling I should be good. The bandwidth usage of Path of Exile seems to be really optimized, it rarely uses more than 100kbps during combat for me, and I can put out 9 zombies + 9 raging spirits in addition to whatever the enemy's throwing at me.

Hopefully that can be a way to get build defining uniques in a way less devoted to RNG and trade.
Personally I'm hoping that Rise of the Pheonix will be on one of the cards.

Darn, it'd be a good thing to have till perhaps a 1st party way of trading without the need of dealing with trade chat or third party apps.

Quite frankly it would have been less torturous to just have a burst of players per week as opposed to the timer. At the very least it would allow less of alt accounts. Perhaps 2,520 new beta participants per week which is exactly how many are now accepted per week but instead in a burst.
Do you not get Sweep as a quest reward in the Beta anymore? I heard it was in much better shape as a skill now and wanted to try it out, but the two quests that usually give it for a Marauder didn't have it as an option anymore. Bummer!

or to make it "less torturous" you could just stop looking at it all day like its the next coming of christ
Mjolnir values heavily nerfed in Beta. Any of you rich bastards who have one in Standard just got substantially richer if the old one is made a legacy item.

All that was changed was the chance to cast was lowered to 30% from 50%... not that big of a deal considering the re-imagined wrath/anger aura's will more than make up for that (which is probably why they nerfed it in the first place). Its base attack speed was actually buffed as well.
Also lets be honest, this change only affects the 20-30 people lucky enough to get one in the temp leagues.
More opportunities to gain beta keys + 3 4h endless ledge events.

Woah. I just accidentally learned that (in the Closed Beta at least) you can right click a buff icon at the top-left corner to cancel it. That includes auras and shrines. Has this always been a thing that I've just somehow missed before, or is it a new addition?
