i just want to farm for humility cards so i can get a tabula rasa wwhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
EA is one of the few builds where I'd actually recommend getting the Blood Magic keystone since auras don't do much for it aside from Purity of Fire. 124% life also isn't nearly enough. You could do something like this: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAwUA-d1PBEPIW6CnVXwOaPLwH6IABLPAZjwF73yf35o7gpvsODrYJy-QVRo4WfOsqnIPcqlxhWaexPb3Mnrm-tLGrift6hh82WP9Fm8dFDwtBg52rPjrRtfjaiSqEmmPRoPMg1_UfM9-FHHz3dq5NukYZRccm6G3Pgn2rY0OPGhlsUIabHF599cYav4KOlLfv52urJg5Uti98kW8n9tPA3U6WPFsWAc1kjrh_EsYkeDDkStVxjbY_o-mVxRNJbxYd4PbSRtN418EBAcqjUyz7FXQH5eV7-tSUz1fffU=
Thanks, BM works wonderfully. At the moment level 56 and I am standing on 3.4k hp, almost capped resistances and 150 hp regen. Still, cannot play because latency squarewaves between 1000 and 65. You end up with vaal gem ( which are usually shitty, but not much shittier ), a better rare gem. So far I have corrupted 2 quest uniques and claimed Powerlessness and Fevered Mind. Not a good trade in particular. At least for me.
Could anyone recommend a fun, great, balls to the walls build for ~75 Exalt budget? I'm working on liquidating and sorting out my standard stash and I want to blow all that dosh just sitting there on something fun. I just want to set the world on fire.

It gives me 1% max mana back per kill, but I lose 1% max hp and 1% max energy shield per kill. Also can any tell me if doing a wand build would be viable for casual play? I don't have much experience with this game.

That'll open up different weapons like scepters and staffs for you to experiment with. Not only with weapons, but also in the skill tree as well. It's up to you though.

Now there's what's called wanding, which is using the wand-only skills Power Siphon and Kinetic Blast, which I wouldn't recommend at all for a new player.

I also figure it might have more sockets to work with. Also about staves, are they better for a more defensive play style, than say for example wand or scepter? Are they tricky to use effectively? Thanks for the answers!
Why aren't those skills recommended? Are they tricky to use effectively?
It's expensive.

[editline]18th July 2015[/editline] Why aren't those skills recommended? Are they tricky to use effectively? Thanks for the answers!
I would almost always recommend using a scepter/wand over a staff, especially for a new player running a run of the mill ele. spell caster. A wand/scepter gives you the possibility of using a shield, being able to make almost any build super tanky with the right setup. You can also dualwield wands & scepters which outclasses a staff for most builds, since the possible damage rolls on two wands outclasses even the best staff. Staff however are 2h, allowing you to add another 6L in your build which is amazing for some builds. Builds such as SRS are made to utilize the unique properties of a staff. Having the same rolls as a Wand/Scepter but on a 6L item is invaluable. Allowing players to stack the +2/+1 gem bonuses to boost their SRS by +3, creating one of the best builds in PoE. There are also some really cool unique staffs such as Pledge of Hand, Pillar of the Caged God and Dying Breath. But majority of the time, you're probably going to want to stick with wand or scepter. Especially for leveling when you can use the +1 gem level recipe to speed the process up.
Summoners are OP again in 2.0 (until the next nerf ofc) I'm following this build on the cheap: Also got really nice loot from the Ember box:
I opened like 4 and got the fire weapon thing, the cauldron, a firefly(was planning to buy...but), and the burning fox I wish I could gift cosmetics to a friend. I can't use two pets. Also, ice crash is SO fucking good. I'm just leap slamming into huge crowds and spamming ice crash and regaining all my hp due to life leech. Is it bad I'm not grabbing evasion -- > armor? I don't have any evasion and its like 4 levels away from everything else. I decided to grab the life leech nodes since life leech is honestly doing more for me.

Evasion your chance at flat out dodging an attack. ES is basically another form of HP which regenerates over time, but can be bypassed by chaos damage (unless you have the CI passive, or the Shavronne's Wrappings armor, which prevents chaos damage from bypassing energy shield.) Dodge is another mechanic similar to evasion, which works on a pseudo-random roll rather than the entropy mechanic used for evasion calculations, which ensures no random large strings of hits and misses. Most players prefer the direct mitigation of armor, as opposed to going flat out full evasion, which without the mitigation of armor means that once an enemy does hit you, you'll take more damage than if you had an equivalent armor rating. If you focus on armor rather than evasion as such, enemies will hit you more often, but they will do less damage overall.
You also have to remember armor only mitigates physical damage, and evasion can't evade spells. (But you can dodge spells with the Phase Acrobatics keystone or some uniques) As for grabbing Iron Reflexes which is what I assume you mean, that's only worth it if you have some evasion on gear and just want armor.
Iron Reflexes can be somewhat difficult to afford passives for getting though, especially if you're a Marauder. Ever since I got my Belly of the Beast I've been thinking of ways of potentially picking up it, but short of gaining a few more levels it's not really possible without hurting my build too much.
Alright, thanks guys. going lust for carnage as it honestly seems like a better choice then iron reflexes. I don't like 100% following the build, when iron reflexes doesn't benefit it much.
Welp back to playing caster I guess.
I accidentally created a build that I think will do well although I'm sure it's been thought of before. I'm grabbing Point Blank and Iron Grip for a Molten Strike Marauder. I thought about instead going duelist or scion and going for them instead but there's plenty of good keystones along the way such as blood magic and unwavering stance. I'm just curious if PB + IG will be enough damage to forgo a lot of damage nodes for health + armor.

If the molten balls reach their usual max distance (which is almost melee range) they will drop to 50% dmg, only if they drop right at your feet will they do the +50% damage.
Noob question; What happens to stashed items from different leagues that get placed into standard after they are over?
Noob question; What happens to stashed items from different leagues that get placed into standard after they are over?
The tabs get added to your standard stash as remove only tabs.

ah I see the confusion. no, as I understand it, the distance is fixed at 35 'units' regardless of the attack from the wiki: [t]http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/pathofexile.gamepedia.com/2/2a/Point_Blank_distance.jpeg[/t] [editline]20th July 2015[/editline] looking into it more, mark from GGG confirms here that molten strike projectiles travel between 5 and 20 units, so you should get between 30% and 50% more damage, which is pretty good

Welp, my EA dual-curse Templar just ripped to strongbox. My computer is too weak to handle exile spawning, game froze for good seconds. Now to figure a new build. I managed to get some uniques while playing. Trash like Briskwrap and actually some maybe-useful ones like Kaom's Primacy. On Tempest, that is. Some ideas I have been rolling have been max block counter-attacker, BM inci/firestorm marauder ( consuming dark+infernal mantle ) and somethingsomething Icecrasher. I am actually liking the idea of Consuming Dark + Infernal Mantle. I added some build draft to illustrate. As for gems, probably just Clear Mind and somethingsomething? Consuming Dark is fucking expens- oh wait it's 1 exalt, bought. Time to make chaos marauder.
GGG posted some information about upcoming updates: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1342688
Are wands superior to scepters when it comes to flame totems and elemental spells in general, or are they the same?
Are wands superior to scepters when it comes to flame totems and elemental spells in general, or are they the same?
roughly the same depending on the rolls, though you do need more STR to equip sceptres, so they're more for builds which focus on melee elemental damage to an extent. However, on pure damage boost, the wand does win out if you get a higher implicit roll on the spell damage, as the highest level sceptres only boost elemental damage by 15%, and the prophecy wands can get 16-20%. Of course, being spell damage, the boost only applies to skill gems with the spell tag, and not elemental skills like molten shell/ice crash.
I feel like doing something with Spark + Vaal Spark, any suggestions for a !!fun!! build? Something that benefits from large numbers of low dmg hits, something that procs when you shock an enemy, etc. Also, does spell echo work with vaal spark, or any of the vaal gems for that matter? I know it does work for flameblast by speeding up the charge speed, but not sure for other vaal spells.
