Canach was in the announcement trailer hidden behind a bunch of flames fighting that huge forged construct thing, and in the Crystal Desert/Elona trailer too, so he's definitely apart of this story (thank fuck). I'm hoping they actually give this story a sense of conclusion instead of another stupid cliff-hanger which we've been getting since LWS1 lol.
Yeah, I do want a conclusion but I also don't want this character to "go away" as he's great.
5th year anniversary gifts have started to roll out! I can't decide what weapon skins to choose.
what are the skins?
what are the skins?
2 of these and another one of the back pieces from the 4th year. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Anniversary_Weapon_Pack
Oh sweet I logged in and got it. I dont like flashy skins but these are really nice and I have no clue which two to grab.
What legendary takes the least amount of time to get (without straight up buying it for gold)? I'm down for investment, but taking 6 months to get a weapon isn't a very attractive prospect.
Oh yeah, look on the gem stores promotional tab, there should be 2 free boxes with living story season 1 loot in it.

Look on gw2efficiency and personally I'd make an account and tell it to use your owned mats, etc.
Is it stupid that I kinda want fishing in GW2 as a crafting discipline or as usable fishing rod bundles something? I really enjoyed fishing in my downtime in WoW. There's something relaxing about it.

Either way - I'm trying to get myself back into GW2 now that the expansion is so close, but I'm afraid of burning myself out again before the expansion even launches. Debating just trying to get back in on launch day & picking a brand new legendary to hunt :v:
every bank/TP i go to seems to always have atleast one person near it with a toxic hybrid mini, i'm really tired of the loud gross noises it makes
Nothing beats the horror of standing near TP/Bank during SAB event.
Nothing beats the horror of standing near TP/Bank during SAB event.
there is always a super banana nearby when I'm hanging out at the rata banks. bugger's volume is out of control

I think bounties are a really good answer, but even more casual and fun little activities like fishing would be great.

I actually quite like Ebonhawke.
I actually quite like Ebonhawke.
Ebonhawke is great. It's a neat looking city with neat lore, but most importantly it's quiet.
Nothing beats the horror of standing near TP/Bank during SAB event.
You triggered my PTSD, all these sounds together is fucking insane
How tough is Forsaken Thicket/any of the raids?
These kinds of annoying minis and sounds are the reason my home city has become Ebonhawke
ebon's cultural set has always been a favorite of mine since nobody knew they existed, especially before the wardrobe
Ebon will probably be where you start off in PoF since the desert gate is right outside it. I wonder how many players haven't actually been to that zone since it's so out of the way.

Plus, the airship used in that demo was recently added (at least I think, correct me if it's always been there) docked in Lion's Arch.
I actually found the [sp]admiral guy who flies the ship on the beta's first mission in Lion's Arch somewhere. Might just be setting off from LA.[/sp]
In general I just found the city interesting, especially since it had some stuff to do instead of just existing for the auction house and bank basically.
i was planning on abandoning LA for Amnoon when PoF comes out but i already know it will be infested by ugly auras and annoying minis
Mount Maelstrom has a little camp with a TP and a bank right next to each other that no one is ever parked at and it never gets contested. It's a nice refuge from the terrible auras and glowy gem store shit. [editline]24th August 2017[/editline] I still have no idea why these options don't exist: - Hide (or at least mute) Miniatures - Hide Auras These probably don't exist because Micro-transaction $$$ but if they did you wouldn't completely lose immersion when you ran into other players: - Hide non-Default Glider Skins (looking at you, Raven and SAB gliders) - Hide Backpack Skins
We don't get the level 80 boosts til release, right?
We don't get the level 80 boosts til release, right?
I got mine already.
We don't get the level 80 boosts til release, right?
You get it as soon as you buy the new extension.
Reminder that Wayfarer’s Reverie starts tomorrow in GW1 and runs through September 1st. May be an easy way of getting some points in the Hall of Monuments with Tormented weapons.
I'm FINALLY getting a new compute built soon so I will have a reason to return to GW2 for a good while. To see it run at not 25FPS all the time. Hooray

Coincidentally, I just got the GW1 Trilogy + Eye of the North yesterday, figured it'd make waiting for PoF easier.
