You should try and see how that looks with the Splint pauldrons. They look really good on norn and I think it would look good with that set you have.
Yeah, splint really works with the whole "pratical armor" thing, you can see I'm even using the helmet. The main reason I didn't use the paudrons is because they're too simple looking in comparison to the rest of the armor. Here's a screenshot just for the sake of it. Been playing with the action camera lately because I'm just leveling and it's nifty. Not great all the time with menu pop ups and such, but lets me lean back a bit more. I'd try the various controller set ups out there but navigating those menus with a controller seems tedious to say the least. (Also ignore my abilities I am fiddling with them) [t]http://i.imgur.com/gZN74mu.jpg[/t]
I have the action camera bound to one of my secondary mouse buttons so when Im using it if I need to navigate a menu or something I can switch it on and off on the fly.

Here's my two favorites, my scrapper is still a WIP tho. I don't know what clothes I can use to make him look like a tanky engineer.
Looks like it is that time again. I just popped a kit and remade my Ranger recently. [thumb]https://i.imgur.com/YXTu70u.jpg[/thumb]
What armor is that? edit: also, how much of a pain in the ass is it to get the cool, anime style swords that leave trails of stuff when they move?
What armor is that? edit: also, how much of a pain in the ass is it to get the cool, anime style swords that leave trails of stuff when they move?
Your options are legendary weapons or the bloodstone skins (I think)
Character posts? Just finished up quip shortly after coming back to the game. [t]http://i.imgur.com/END5ZXA.png[/t]

quick lazy low detail screencaps of all characters right now, will make proper composition when i can run game with >10fps [t]http://i.imgur.com/uI5gST4.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/iqIqawC.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/d3LwiLO.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/UU422nB.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/Mb50ecg.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/hv7F7dG.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/Lgf1Cnn.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/zXmfhhr.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/JIzDGOw.jpg[/t] the first charr I made was a warrior but then I realized I hated warrior and charr then they released Berserker and warrior actually became fun so I remade the charr played it for awhile the voice actor is really good then they got a new voice actor so I used a total makeover kit for that sweet charr female voice actress for living story then I changed it back because the male voice actor does a better "You can't stop me!" and "Rrragh I'll destroy you all!" and I haven't finished his personal story now if Charr were closer to CBBE khajiit this would be different but they were literally designed as gross scary enemies in gw1 also I accidentally made a noble and two commoner humans instead of one that was poor damn

When they check for weapons at the door nobody expects a tail gun.
I've been falling back into GW2. Always went far but never deep. First rogue, though! They're fun to play.

Thief is the best profession in GW2!
raiding last night went so rough half the time I was competing for the top few DPS slots, the other half I'm sitting at 3kdps tops because boss I'm getting knocked back/teleported around by cairn without ever seeing his skills. Ended up spending most of my time fighting to stay alive and res others, was very messy then at gorseval I got the spooky shit while not seeing AOE circles from the things that grant it, followed by running over and visibly collecting two of the debuff orbs, seeing myself cured, but jake sees me debuffed and sure enough my health is draining and I go down. Later I'm told to pick up more orbs from nearby and see none of them. That, on top of melting too fast when doing no-updraft-gorseval-dps-checks. I kept getting downed, followed by complaints that people are getting downed. What am I supposed to do when I'm being told to facetank the black gunk and DPS as hard as possible? sabetha was a hot mess [hah] because the green bomb thing would make the bleepbloop special action sound, didn't show the button popup, and wouldn't react to the keypress in those instances, then the circle dies out nearly as the notification sound finishes blooping. meanwhile other players who get the bomb have enough time to see they have the bomb and jog halfway across the arena to toss it to the other player. The one thing I'll completely own up to is bumping burning speed at one point just as she started firewall the one dude was clearly pissed at me and making vague comments about how this isn't a learning raidgroup and expressing what guilds do that shit, and while I'm not a heavily experienced raider outside of wing1 (which hey, I did great on the wing4 dps chess golem dude for a first timer) the game was genuinely being fucky all night and I can't say it was lag given i had a steady 90ish ping
Competitive stuff soon https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/get-ready-for-the-june-2017-competitive-feature-pack/ It's got rewards https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/updates-to-world-vs-world-skirmishing-and-rewards/ I'd post my current character but I also need to figure out an outfit I like so heres what happens when a portal tears your essence out and a Revenant comes along
Shit, time to learn how to kill many other players again

Are there any ... Floral? Medium armour sets? I'd like to make my Norn Ranger look extra .... Druid...y.
Are there any ... Floral? Medium armour sets? I'd like to make my Norn Ranger look extra .... Druid...y.
There's the Twilight Arbor armour set. Other than that I don't think there's much floral armour stuff unless you're Sylvari. There's a couple of items on the gem store that might work if you're willing to spring for gems though, namely the toxic mantle / glove skins, but I dont think they're available right now and they're probably a bit evil looking for a druid aesthetic. There's also the 'wreath of cooperation' which is currently available. The 'Nature's Oath' and 'Verdant Executor' outfits also fit the bill and are both currently available too.
Thanks! Ill probably go after the Arbor set then! It's a shame theres no purchaseable to change race, wouldn't want to lose all the time invested into the character already

Try Nightmare Court Collar and leggings (Twilight Arbor), Viper's jerkin if you have it (gemstore), Whisper's Secret Boots, Shadow of the Dragon Gloves (gemstore as well), and the wreath. Viper's jerkin has a flowing pattern that sort of meshes well with the leggings and shoulders, while having a slightly more Whisper's secret boots have pieces sticking up to around the knee area that sort of look like twigs, and the knife holsters in each boot sort of fit the ranger aesthetic of being a wilderness explorer. The gloves are pretty planty despite having dragon in its name, and the wreath looks like leaves. Here's a preview: Alternatively if you want to go gemstore free you could use the carapace jerkin since it has a butterfly pattern on the lower parts of it, the left arm sleeve also has a nice gradient for dying so you can make it more plant-like. Gloves are a bit of a toss up but I think as long as you don't use anything super mechanical looking like dredge stuff it should be fine. Twilight Arbor works, but honestly since it just covers the hands that should be a lower priority if you're grinding tokens. Same with the mask. It doesn't really evoke trees/flowers/nature as much as the chest piece/leggings/boots. Nothing really cries out to me as "nature" in the helms category from a quick browse. It does look a bit more man made though so it depends on how far you want to take the plant aesthetic. For comparison below is full Twilight Arbor/Nightmare Court (minus helm).
